We did the cleats in the bag trick for rec ball last fall! Walmart had some thank goodness. We were still 55 minutes away from home.

And one last thing... buy the largest SUV you can afford to haul it all in.

Biggest thing for me is to be prepared for lots of ridiculous parents on some teams. Dont get caught off guard because some are nasty and you just have to learn to deal with it.

I think the most important thing is to sit back and enjoy. There is always another game to play and this is the time to build your dd's love for the game. Winning or losing isn't that important at this level. My daughter is 17 and we are coming to the end. It goes by so fast, and I will miss it. Most of all, I will miss the weekends spent with my daughter.

unless you are standing there when the coach announces which uniform, socks etc they are wearing tom.take everything in the car with you at 12 u ours wore the wrong one a couple of times, also extra socks and cleats KEPT in the car at all times are a very good idea, and band-aids are a must if there is any kind of boo-boo w/blood they HAVE to have a band-aid on it before they are allowed back on the field and almost always the team first aid kit is nowhere to be found, safe sunglasses for dd for when shes in the field
