Whoa, for a second there I thought it was an ESPN or TMZ clip for Roger Goodell, the Not For Long commissioner.

..."Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door! Quoth the raven, 'Nevermore'."

I wasnt expecting tonight's episode at all. I was expecting an entire season at Terminus. Carol is amazing! The group owes her a day at the spa.

Good episode, i think Rick was right, they should have went back and finished them off, maybe stock on some supplies. There was a room full of weapons where Carol got Daryls bow. Those canibals will come back to bite them in the butt (yuck yuck)
Tyreese is the worst baby sitter in the history of the zombie aopocalypse.......

Tryeese might be a horrible babysitter but I still want him on my side. He's a big strong dude.......

It was a great first episode. I was hoping to see Beth but that obviously didn't happen. It also looks like Carol and Daryl need some alone time. Did anyone notice that the first guy to get it at the troth (baseball bat to the back of the head, throat slit) was the blond guy with a seperated shoulder that Rich and Carol found in a house from last season? I didn't recognize the others that died at the troth. I wonder if we've seen them from prior episodes.

Had to go back to seasons 4 episode to see his face, and that is him. Also, on the talking dead mentioned he is playing the penguin on the new Gotham series on FOX.

Was anyone else fighting off their gag reflex during the scene at the trough? Either that was a bit more graphic than normal or I need to watch a couple more episodes to desensitize myself again.

You think that's more graphic than crushing a head in? Even the way Hershel went out was more graphic. IMO there are many things more graphic than the "bat upside the head/throat slit" move.

Walking Dead breaks US cable TV record...

The fifth series opener of US drama The Walking Dead has been watched by 17.3m people, breaking cable viewing records.
It marks the biggest cable audience for a non-sports programme in the US, according to television viewing figures tracking company Nielsen. The post-apocalyptic horror, which stars British actor Andrew Lincoln, held the previous record of 16.1m for its fourth season debut last year.

The end of the series also set a new benchmark for a finale with 15.7m.
