I don't care who it is or what the "rules" are ... actively recruiting players in May for the next year just isn't right in my opinion ... let them at least play on their current teams the next couple of months ... there's nothing they can really do about it at this time anyhow, and why create any chaos or ill feelings on their current teams? And by the way, I'm not sure about when the line gets crossed re: amateur status if you are offering $300 "gifts". I might have worded it differently than Dan did, but if there's someone out there doing this who is starting up their 4th organization in less than a year, then I think people have the right to be "educated" ... just my opinion. And to answer your question Lewam, yes, there are going to be many parents out there who don't know any better ...
