As the coach of an 11U team this year I am forced with challenging the team with tournaments that are tough enough to push them to their limits, but not so tough that the girls get their teeth kicked in all season long. I'm not asking to start that debate right now, (do you enter the toughest tournaments you can find or do you enter some "softer" tournaments? That could be an interesting debate in another post, but I don't want to get sidetracked here. (Actually I WILL post that to get some thoughts on that topic as well.)
This post is simply this....if you had a very strong 12U team this year & you wanted to challenge your players week in & week out, what would you schedule look like? Start about mid May & continue until the end of July, assuming you would be playing some sort of National Tourney.
What tournaments would you enter? Let's target 8-10 tourneys & keep them all in Ohio.
This ought to spur some interesting debate.
