Watched both Sito and Johnson pitch at Ashland. Both very good, but I still favor Kelly.

did not have to face her, but I watched her pitch every weekend---Mindy Meridith. She pitched almost every game for the sapphires this past summer.

In 16U at Indiana U of PA, a pitcher from the Pitt. Spirit Santillo team (I don't know her name) had 14 strikeouts in 6 innings against our team while allowing only 2 hits. She was the one this year who stood out most in my mind because she had great speed along with movement.

I agree with the pitchers from pittsburgh spirit Santillo. We played them at Toledo fastpitch classic had two very good pitchers. They could both pitch very fast and had movement. Don't know there names though.

pitcher from lady charmers was pretty deceptive,

Leanna Pittsenbarger, Urbana High School. Lots of players said she isn't that fast, but that's why location and movement are so important. She is a great kid also!!!

A few of us watched Sito at Compuware and enjoyed her rise ball.

Who is recruiting Sito? Kelly signed with Ohio State. I'm sure this will get some comments. I watched Sito and Page Myers pitch last year and Sito was better at least in the game I watched her.

Its probably not going to get many comments. People who know both know the differences.

Coach Jeff, that is a very good story on Sito.

Tess Sito was able to put her team on her back a couple of games last year to carry them to a state title.

Played against both kelly from lasers and Sito from sundogs this past summer. Sito is by far the better pitcher of the two. Her movement and speed is the best we have seen. oh yea, sito also hit a home run and a triple in our game too. Probably the best hitter we faced too.

Didn't face this pitcher, but scouted her at 16u ASA Nationals as we could of matched up - Kaitlyn Inglesby of Northwest Blaze - verbal to Washington - they fought out of losers bracket to win maybe 1000:) games - seems that way with 2nd round loss but they did it (Anderson girl is their number two and headed to Wichita State and she is second best I saw all year).
You always hear about the mythical pitchers at Nationals, when in reality most of the really great ones move up to Gold (even at the tender age of 15 or 16), but in this case, these pitchers would handle their own at the Gold level. They are(were) way ahead of the curve in reference to pitchers.

Our highlight of the nationals - West Jersey Witches handed Blaze only loss of tournament, and Nightmare had Witches on the ropes!!! Would of loved to face either of the Blaze pitchers to see how we stack up.
