Does it seem that this year more then any other years, that teams are struggling to fill their rosters. Is it because of the economy, or the fact there are so many teams. Or a little of both.

If you count the teams and girls there are more girls playing travel ball then ever before.
Hey, Klump, ""Alot of teams are having to pull mediocre talent from the rec leagues just to be able to field a team. I have seen quite a few players who have no business being on a travel team""
Are you an ARROGANT AS***** or what? Some kids LIKE TO PLAY SOFTBALL. Rec leagues simply do not provide much opportunity to do so. Go ride your high horse to Moscow circa Oct. 1812.
This IS travel ball not Rec.League that's why travel has try outs and yes teams are having trouble filling there roster and don't kid yourself, coaches are taking kids that they normally wouldn't. If the "truth" is arrogant than there are a lot of arrogant coaches out there.;&Hey, Klump, ""Alot of teams are having to pull mediocre talent from the rec leagues just to be able to field a team. 4carrs, ""Got to agree with Klump on this. Travel is not for the occasional/casual player."" That's not what was said. She said that girls have no business wanting to play 50 games a year unless they are a stud like her. Go home to your rec league little girl and play 10 crappy games a year. When you grow up you can stay in the kitchen and bake cookies with Hillary.
