If I understand your question correctly, my answer would be "no". BUT as a coach of a different team I'm not going to talk to that player unless and until she has already made the break with the first team. I think that is what ethics demands. If there is a girl on our team out shopping, I want to know as soon as possible so we can protect the team's structure by replacing that girl ASAP with someone at her position. When the shoe is on the other foot, I don't think I have the right to discuss offering a position to a girl whose coach doesn't have a clue that he or she is about to lose a player.
