Where does everyone get equipment?

Where does everyone get their equipment? Bats, bags, gloves, balls, nets, etc, etc. I am always searching the net for the best deals and looking for good impartial reviews.

We recently bought bags from Tanel. My daughter loves them, she has been wearing their shoes for awhile. In the past we have purchased from Softball Savings, HitRunScore, Eastbay, and SPC Sports (Bat Galaxy) and have had nothing but positive experiences working with all these companies.

Where does everyone else get their softball "stuff" from?

Here is someting to add to your checking list:

www.linedrive.com and there is a website called "batsbatsbats" . I don't know if it is dot com or org . But, I get flyers from there and delete them as I don't buy bats myself.

Locally a new store just opened ALM Teamsports ... they are the team/equipment side of www.SpiritwearNow.com - where the Hawks, Static, Buckeye Elite, Akron Sapphires, Cyclones and others all get their team uniforms and Spiritwear.

Call Mike at 513 465-2815 - they have access to all the major brands and just opened an equipment store north of Middletown this week.

I generally try and get the info for the equipment I am looking for then do a mass google search. Order online - best price if DD doesn't need it ASAP.

The Styx use Sports-N-Sports out of ashtabula Kelly one of the outside sales people is great and they give teams team discounts i buy every thing from banners, bats and balls to uniforms and spiritwear from her some things she may be Little higher on but the service is next to none she will come out to you and meet with you on your site and as far as uniforms go she orders in a size run and comes out and fits each girl that to me is one less headache to have and they stand behind their work. her contacts are office (440) 998-4664 cell (440) 536-2317

Thanks for all the good info! The more searching you do for this stuff the more confusing it gets. The price ranges out there for the exact same stuff is incredible.

We currently use Positive Images in Newton Falls for our jerseys and spirit wear. Dawn has treated us really well!

Have used softballsales.com and linedrive.com with good experiences as well as a few smaller places. As you said, price always seems to vary widely so definitely shop around.

I hate ordering online or mail orders, I like to see what I'm purchasing. Just recently a New Sporting Goods Store opened in my area Dunham's Sports you can also order online if you wish. What I like is when you Check-out they give you a Coupon for 20% off your next purchase at their Stores. Hey! 20% is 20%! Also they have a Team Package that a Coach can get for their team for Additional Savings.

Had really good experiences with:

www.closeoutbats.com

AND

www.ballglovewarehouse.com

Ball Glove Warehouse will let you return gloves if your dd doesn't like them at no cost. Both outfits are very customer service oriented. Never had to return a bat to closeout bats though. I bought a "team bat" from them last year, an Easton Reflex aluminum for $19.95 and my 8U girls hit the absolute snot out of that thing. Best twenty bucks I ever spent.

We just bought our first shoes online -- Ringor -- for the dd pitching with Pro-Tect-Toe. It will be interesting to see how this works.

Oh, does anybody have advice to repairing dd's Ripit mask? the chin pad came off. Oddly, there are sunflower seeds stuck between the metal and the plastic strip that holds the chin pad on (a senior moment -- all I can think of is teflon and I know that
's not the word).
