Saturday 7/24/2010 is the start of the OGSO (Ohio Girls Softball Organization) State Tournament games. They will be played at the Champion Sports Complex off Sr. 305 in Champion. These are the top Rec ball teams playing for the OGSO Title. There will be A league (10u), B League (12u), C League (14u), D League (16u).

Hartford Slammers is my team. "A" league. You'll see my daughter pitch this weekend.

My daughter plays for Keystone ["B" league = 11/12 yr olds] and her team will be at State this weekend. 7 of the 11 girls on her Keystone team are travel ball players (5 different travel teams) . The Amherst B team that is going to State has at least 3 travel ball players on it as well.

Do we need to have an OFC tent at the OGSO tourney...:lmao:

Actually with only four fields playing it shouldn't be that difficult to see everyone.

Yes i will be there and love meeting fellow OFC'rs. :yahoo: I guess i'm just suprised how many of us will be in attendance at the OGSO tournament...come to think of it, there are 3 fellow OFC'rs on my dd's team that will be there as well.

My DD plays at 5:30pm Saturday. She is one of the pitchers for the team. Unlike most other teams all of our players are all from the community. Only 1 playes travel.

Hey Shark99. Does your daughter play A (9-10) B (11-12) or C (13-14)? My kids team (Keystone #2) is made up of all first year B players (very young team). They are very excited to have even made it this far. Keystone also has another team going to State- the second year B team (Keystone #1)

She playes in the C League. The team is made up of all first year players for C League. We made it to state last year and lost in the first round 2 to 1.
