We will list the teams at alater date, why does it matter what teams have entered. If you want to enter, enter. I am a very busy person and don't have time to sit at the computer update a list everytime a team enters. It is an ASA National Qualifier, teams are entering from many states. Thanks, Jim

It does matter what teams are entered...it would be nice to have a list once a month...you don't have to update daily, but a list of paid entries would certainly be interesting...especially to teams who have already paid the entry fee...Thanks.

Sorry, but that is your job as a tournament director, so find the time. ?The customer is always right, better learn that quickly, if you want anyone to consider your tournaments.

Lady_Knights you are absolutely right. Why have a tournament if you don't have time to run it properly? Asking for a list of entries once a month is certainly not out of order, especially if teams from out of state really are entering. Last year the farthest away was North Carolina with a team from Michigan, and I think one from Indiana. Most teams were from Ohio.

There have been teams from California come to Ohio looking for an "easy berth". It would be nice to know if that is the case going into this tournament. I don't think the attitude of the tournament director is a very good one. I don't believe I have ever seen a TD respond that way to a request for a team list.

The ASA state tournament for 16U and 18U is AFTER the natonal qualifier, and all of the paid entries are listed. I didn't think the request for a list was unreasonable.

I can't get the form open. Could someone at least post information on this tournament--i.e. dates, etc?

Any updates on this qualifier? Has anyone registered yet? How many teams in each age bracket are you taking? Can the ASA director give us a list of teams entered?

this is getting a bit ridiculous - surely ASA isn't aware of the fact that no one can get any information on this tournament because the td doesn't have time?? how did that tournament get awarded to Akron in the first place if no updates (even once a month) are ever available???

I agree, this Jim charecter is very unprofessional, and the state ASA director needs to be alerted to his lack of effort and communication!!!

Bill, I tried the above mentioned web adress for the Ohio ASA Director, and am getting a "Windows unable to locate" alert. Is there anyother alternative? Thanks in advance, Lee.

Warren emailed me back today with a very positive response. He said we should see something by Friday.

I just got an e-mail from Bruce Sidle and Shreve will not be having the 16-U qualifier this year but will next year.

I've entered this tournament!!! Seriously thinking about reconsidering that though!!!!! It's now Wednesday.......and nothing. I think Warren Jones needs a few phone calls?? Just my though.

I'm thinking this whole thing is a bust and probably will be if this is the way it's being run. ASA seriously needs to rethink how they award tournaments...unless they feel this tournament is not important????
