congrats to the 14u winners, dont know who it was yet but The Miamisburg Blast would like to say it was an honor to play such great teams this weekend and hope that our girls can learn from the experience. Hope to play against the same teams in the future and show significant improvements.We had 3 girls that were 12 and just came out of rec ball to sub for us. If they all learned something and it helps them raise their game it was a priceless experience.

I would like to see some results as well for 14u. Also are the winners accepting the bids to go? My team made this trip a few years ago and was a great experience for the girls.

what was up with the laser 12u pitching?was watching them this weekend and seen them struggle
and walk a lot of batters.only seen 1 of there pitchers not have much trouble,the one who pitched against the dragons seemed to have the best control and not walk many batters.But that is the only time i seen her pitch all weekend Then the 1 pitcher i think she is #13 looks like she could be very dominating once she gets consistant,it could be a long year for the lasrs this year.

Oh no!!! I can't belive you posted this. Did they have a two hour meeting in centerfield after the game too. This is eerily similar to last year when some troublemaker from southern Ohio posted almost the same thing. ;D They promptly went undefeated the whole season. I hope you didn't just hose us all this season.

BTW, saw the Doom early this year. They are the real deal this year. Congrats Doug.

I would type some funny comment but can't stop laughing long enough ----I sure don't remember what size shoe I stuck in my mouth but I hope it wasn't that big !!!! LOL Yep 62 games later they were 62-0 LOL ! (hopefully the lasers crew can quit picking on me and move on to fpdad1970) Deja Vu ? Scoob still cracks up telling the story about arriving at 10u NSA states last year and a posse of laser dads accussed him of being "Manitou somebody" ;D ;D ;D MD

fp1970 I was at the tourney but I thought #13 was their best pitcher of the day. Not to take anything away from the other pitchers but any of the three or four pitchers would have been successful against the Dragons. Everytime I came over to watch the game it seemed like #13 was in the game pitching. Why is that? By the way what place did your dd team end up?

FIRST OF ALL MY DD IS #13 ON THE LADY LASERS AND I WOULD LIKE TO CONGRADULATE THE DOOM ON WINNING THEY ARE A GREAT TEAM! MY DD PITCHED HAD A HAND IN EVERY GAME PLAYED AND SHE DID NOT STRUGGLE WITH CONTROL AND SHE DID NOT WALK 16 PEOPLE!!!!!! NOT EVEN CLOSE. I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GETTING YOUR INFO FROM. THESE ARE TOUGH TEAMS AND IT TAKES A TOTAL TEAM EFFORT TO BEAT THESE TEAMS! IF WE CUT OUR ERRORS IN HALF WE EASILY COULD HAVE BEEN 5 AND 0 THIS WEEKEND. FP1970 WHOSE DOES YOUR DD PLAY FOR? DOES SHE PITCH?

i did not say #13 had 16 walks i said in those 2 games combined i do believe #13 only pitched parts of those games, the walks were spread out between pitchersi agree #13 had great control at times and was very dominating at times but i feel she could have been used more wisley

You say your dd pitches but on 2-19 08 you posted on the spano 12-u thread that you are glad your dd doesn't pitch. At that time you were also very concerned with Laser Silver pitching. Makes a person wonder what your fishing for. : :

Here is what I will say about the weekend.... The grounds crew did a great job getting the fields ready for Sunday after a long rain on Sat. The teams present all had talent and if the pitchers struggled, it was because of the level of competition. Overall, it was a great weekend and all the girls present should be proud of themselves for enduring a long, but productive Sunday. It was great to watch softball outside.

I agree with raerae10....it was great to watch softball outside. My dd played her first games with the 12u Stingrays this weekend. She did okay, but still a little rusty. The dd and I are looking forward to the season.

I guess if you play for the Lasers you must have thick skin. ;D DD is #13 I think she pitched great! She came in with bases loaded twice with no outs and got out of the innings both times , I believe that is control?!? or could I be wrong? FP1970 did the lasers cut your DD? You seem real interested in what our team does. And again congrats to Cincy Doom and the Stingrays you both are awesome teams!!
