fpdad1970...based on your previous posts, you obviously follow this laser team closely, and should realize that #13 pitches against the hardest teams and comes in during very difficult situation. No doubt she is the #1 pitcher on the team. Since you seem to know all the positions of the players, makes me wonder if you really are just a spectator?!!!!!

WELL SAID BADGER, I AGREE THIS SOUNDS LIKE A DISGRUNTLED PARENT HIDING BEHIND A KEYBOARD. MAYBE IF FP1970'S DAUGHTER IS NOT GETTING MOUND TIME MAYBE THEY SHOULD TALK TO THE COACH NOT OFC.

Lake Erie Hillbilly,

wish i would have known you were there, would have liked to meet you. Were you sitting behind home plate cheering when your DD threw the ball and got my DD out? ;)

You have a very good team and will do well this year with looooong sundays :)

fpdad1970 your explanations make no sense and your contradictions are plenty.

So besides a disgruntled pitchers dad...surprise-surprise...this time of year.

Were there any other great defensive plays or players...offensive hits or hitters...great pitching duels...indivdual games that were well played between 2 teams...good sportsmanship between coaches or players towards opposing teams?

I mean, I'm sure there were some great memories being made at the first outdoor tourney in 2008...lol.

Personally I enjoyed the 14U championship game between the Slammers and Cincy Doom. Some key hits late by both teams had the score 5-3 in favor of the Slammers, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and 2 out for the Doom in the bottem of the 7th...game ended on a line shot to the right fielder. Very well played game by both teams.

I didn't get to watch a whole lot of 14u but from what I did see they have some very talented girls. Its nice to see some much talent in OHIO! :) The 12u teams looked really good as well.

Bink

I was looking to see you and now it sounds like you were there and I missed you. I don't know about great memories but I'll never forget the look on 40's face when her bat broke in half against the Doom95 in their game on Sunday. I'm pretty sure if she didn't have a chin strap on her jaw would have hit the ground as she stood there with only a handle. Over all the 12u looked good with the Lasers making a few more errors than the Doom and Stingrays. I think the team that suprised a few was the Riptide who is a very good 12u team. I hope to see you somewhere this summer.

I was the big ugly lookin hillbilly wearing a spring coat, shorts and a pair of sandles holding the video camera. I was going back and forth trying to figure out if it cold or warm out all day! LOL. But yeah I was sitting behind the backstop for most of the games.

1040,

I agree with you ?100% about the Riptide's not only does this team improve every time I see them play, they also appear to be a great group of young ladies that have been taught by their parents, and coache's how important good sportmanship is. Another great quality I like about this team is that they are afraid of nobody! They want to ?play against good competition as much as possible.

Mr Hillbilly

No the warranty expired 5 months ago and louisville slugger said so sad too bad.
I to would like to meet you, us NWO travel parents need to stick together.
Is you dd with the Doom? if so I think the next time we see you is in Toledo.
I'm usually around the Laser Silver, Irish Blue 16u or Wizzard Gold 10u.
Stop in and say hi.

I do remember seeing you Lake Erie Hillbilly. While you were walking back and forth trying to figure out the weather, I was pacing back and forth trying to figure out all the errors that were happening  It's early in the season and I think they'll be just fine though.

It really was great to get the girls out in the dirt and play together as a team!

1040, I know your DD may be sad about the bat, but she seemed to hit well with her other bat. It's been said that a good batter can hit with any bat!

Yep she is with the Doom. She was the one wearing those crazy bright yellow batting gloves that will blind anybody,LOL.
Sorry to hear about the bat situation, that truely does stink! The bat will look good on the trophy case now and it will be a neat story your daughter can tell for years to come!

We know that Toledo scene very will up in our NWO area. We were with the Lady Irish ourselves, the 10u team last season. Love the CYO Complex and Rolf Park up here.

We will haft to meet up and say howdy when we are in Toledo next month. We are really looking foward to coming back home to play again in the Glass City!

Your girls will be just fine. You can tell there is alot of talent there as you would expect to see from the Lasers program. Being that it is only April there is plenty of season yet to come and Im sure your Lasers will soon be kicking butt and taking names. Not sure what the rest of your tournament schedule is but Im sure we will see eachother more in the summer months. From what 1040 mentioned above we will see eachother in Toledo on May 30th.
