Can we remember these are 12u girls. WOW would your dd appreciate reading these posts Softball Devil? Wouldn't you want your coach to hype up your dd if she was a pitcher? Why such anger against My dd is this something personal??????????? She is 12 did she do something to you????? By the way what team are you from?

apparently softball devil tells me that his team wears black and blue and beat us twice this past weekend meaning the Doom. ?I don't believe that since the doom is a classy team and would not bash a 12u young lady. And again why do you feel it is needed to bash a 12 year old on this web site. ?Is that how it is on JJHuddle? ?Sure sounds personal!

trying to put some true prespective on the hype that coachmurph has been putting on here.
maybe a coach should so some responsibility and not put the spotlight on his players.

I am very close to the Doom 95 team and know the original 9 families well enough to say that they would never post anything negative about an opposing player. All the talk we do in private is on how to keep getting better before Nationals.
Although, I haven't had a chance to meet the 2 new Doom families, I do know that our leader (Doug Anderson) is a man of charecter and through the process of offering these families a spot with the team, a families moral charecter is a highly considered priority. So I wouldn't think they would make such a post either.

Anyway, lets all of us leave the 10U attitudes behind us and enjoy making some great memories with our DD's in 2008!!! ?

I try to stay out of these "wrong way" discussions but lets remember these are 12 year old girls out having fun and hopefully learning as they go. Does it really matter if you lose to this team or that team? Every team can be beat and they will at some point. We all go out and try to win but if we dont then we go back get a bite to eat or a cold one and regroup. Losing isn't fun but it is a fact of life and thats that! Go out let the girls play, have fun and enjoy their youth withou letting the adult "EGOS" ruin it for them.

We are on of the new ones that were added to the Doom `95 team this year so I can tell y`all it isnt coming from us. Everybody on here knows whom I am. ?;D

I also do have a hard time believing it would be coming from a Doom parent. Yeah I dont know them all real good and personal yet,but I believe I have seen enough to know they wouldnt be behind this.

Ive sent a couple PM`s to some of the Laser parents giving them support and kind words and telling them just to ignore the hate that seems to be thrown toward the Laser Nation. ?I dont want to get into the political side of this so I wont go there. We are just looking to play ball against top notch programs in solid tournaments to help strengthen our daughters talent.
You ask me the Lasers gave us two very good games last weekend. Both games tight til the later innings.

I agree with Valley Extreme, singling out a 12 year old negatively (or any age group for that matter) is way out of line. ?

it's a shame that negative comments are sometimes what keep certain threads going. i was personally very excited about starting the outdoor season and getting a chance to play against great competition like the Riptides, the Ohio Dragons, the Lasers, and the Doom. for me the rivalry of the Stingrays vs. the Lasers and the Doom goes back to when we were 10 U's. Doug and his Doom girls have no reason to say anything bad about any team or any girl associated with a team, they do their talking on the field. the Lasers are a great organization that year in and year out field some of the best teams in the State of Ohio (this year will be no exception), from what i saw the Riptides are very well coached, and have some of the gutsiest girls that will ever take the field, they fear no one. the Ohio Dragons (who were missing 4 girls due to school ball) played with an intensity that any coach would be proud of.
negative comments will still be posted throughout the year, take them with a grain of salt (better yet IGNORE THEM)

Hey Dan...

I can tell you first hand that the longer you live up north the more you lose your southern accent...lol. I'm starting to worry about Hillbilly, cause he said "it isn't coming from us." instead of "it ain't coming from us"...lol.

We'll have to meet up in them dar hills or down in the hollow and talk some FASTPITCH soon...lol.

BTW, keep me posted on my Clay Panthers...hopefully another run to States!!!

I can blame that on the dd and wife. Everytime my southern tounge comes out or use a southern expression they correct me right away, followed by a chuckle to make me look bad. ~sigh~
I am surrounded by Yankeeville up here, LOL! When we were in Pigeon Forge I had the twang going in almost full affect! ;D

Tom - Have some of that shrimp ready again like ya did at the McClure tournament last year. ;D
