Mike 12-u looks loaded .Looks like almost all of the better 12-u teams in the area are trying to get in to tournament . I wish Gold had not played up at 14-u that would have made it awesome !

Not saying Gold (probably are) isn't deserving but this is not the list of teams accepted into the tourney but a list of those who have applied and what age group they have applied to play in. Is that a correct statement (Mikes)?

If stated rules are followed, this has to be pretty close to the list.

By count, here is the breakdown of open slots, followed by total registrants and then PAID registrants. (That was a requirement - pay now, and checks won't be cashed until you are accepted.)

Because it is impossible to time the US mail, it is our intention to honor any/all applications and payments postmarked 11/14. I realize that the first post doesn't say that, it says 'received by 11/14' which was a mistake on my part.

GAPSS is held in the Olentangy School District of central Ohio. The school district spans two towns - Powell and Lewis Center. Powell is the location for 10U, 16U and 18U tournament sites. Lewis Center is the location for 12U, 14U, and 18O.

If you are familiar with central Ohio, these two towns are surrounded by Westerville (east), Worthington (south), Dublin (west) and Delaware (north).

After sending in their registration information, unfortunately we received notice that these teams were unable to play. Obviously we disappointed as they are 3 quality programs, but we feel like the teams at each age group will provide for some great competition.

It is our plans to still offer an 18O division. However, it has been explained to me that these teams typically do not take shape until spring. We will evaluate this division as we get closer to the tournament. If you are interested in participating in the 18O division, please let us know for planning purposes.

I understand this has been and will be a first class tourney.

I agree, the problem that they had attracting 10U teams is that most will not part with $495.00. It is not the same as the oler age groups.

However his approach is excellent because it helps build a solid base because once teams attend then they will be hooked.
