Was any one at the GFOD indoor turni a couple weeks ago? If so who do you think were the best hitters?

Not sure which tourney you might be talking about, but the 18U Classics team hit the ball really well up at GFOD.

If you're talking about the 14U tourni, the Buckeye Heat-Clark team had HOT bats!!!

I was at this tourni and there a lot of good teams there and several teams that impressed me-they are

Gahanna Lions - very scrappy team
Emeralds - very solid all around
Teays Valley - another very solid team

However, I don't think I have ever seen a team that hit like the Buckeye Heat team. I talk with one of the parents and was told that the team batted 11 girls each game. From 1 to 11 they hit and they hit hard against some excellent pitching. They also have very good pitching. They should do well next summer.

The Buckeye Heat won over the Emeralds - not sure of the final.

Actually, I beleve the Heat beat the SGS Magic in the Finals of the GFOD 14U indoor tournament. The score was something like 8-4 or 10-4.

OMG, you are right. I got the SGS Magic and the Emeralds mixed up. My bad... a little too much water under the bridge. In my previous post, replace Emeralds with the Magic... sorry.
