I heard that it had been sold . You could try to get a hold of coach terry from mid ohio thunder, he would probably know for sure.

Rumor is yes. Terry told me they would try to open this month, but nothing has been done yet. Not sure what is holding up the new owners, but you get plenty of rumors. . As of last weekend the fields are still not mowed and the weeds are taller than your players. The new owners have soccer connections, but nothing has been stated on what they plan on doing. I live about 8 miles from the complex and drive by once a week.

Our team played there last March, when they had that 6 hour power outage delay. GFOD was the only building affected due to the branch fell on the power lines right in front of the building. We started our first game at 10:30pm and played til 1:30 in the morning. This was for the 10u tournament.

Not sure what they are going to do there, but the popular thought was it was going to be for that other S sport.

I spoke with the Gallighers 2 weeks ago and as of then it has not been sold yet. There are serveral people interested in it and they were expecting an offer soon. Lets hope that someone buys it and keeps some softball there but who knows.
