How Important is High School Softball?

First of all, you and your parents need to look at all options before you decide if you want to transfer schools. It isn't an easy decision. I have 2 daughters who transferred to a rival school between 8th and 9th grade and were happy with their decision. They never had any regrets.

I am very familiar with both of the schools you are talking about and both are good schools. Yyyyyyyy has a sophomore starting pitcher who is very good. She also has a younger sister coming up next year who pitches, and I believe the coach has a daughter who pitches and will be a freshman next year as well. Not sure what xxxxxxxxxxx has as far as pitching goes, but they haven't had strong pitching the last couple of years.

You need to decide if playing Varsity and pitching is worth changing schools and leaving all your friends behind. Can you play another position to get some playing time? Are you really guaranteed a starting spot at xxxxxxxxxx if you do transfer? How many pitchers are ahead of you there? I don't think any of us can tell you what you should do. Sit down with your parents and look at both sides and see what best fits. Good Luck to you in whatever you decide.

sammy, exactly my point, you took her to the camp, don't rely on a h.s coach's or travel to get her to the next level us parents are going to be the one's to get them exposure.
