Pitching and Pitchers Discussion Need advice from another pitchers parent!

My DD has developed an aggravating problem. When she pitches (especially in the heat) she developes a chafe/irritation in the arm pit. We have tried different antiperspirants and poweders to help. But nothing seems to. Has anyone experienced this? How have you dealt with it.

This was my first thought also. My daughter will complain if she doe snot have her uniform on the same way every time. Very rarely will she change her outfit. She wears a boys Under Armor Heat gear, V neck, sleeveless under her jersey. mind you, she is 11, so it works for her now. When she gets older, we'll have to see.

Monkey Butt is the best stuff ever! A close second would be some Gold Bond Powder. I would carry a bottle of each in my bag when I played, it was a life saver.

Monkey butt works great--also use underarmor heat gear that comes up high under the arm--sleeveless. My dd is 17. Has always worked.

Runners use Bodyglide. It rolls on like deodorant. Try giving that a try.
