I am hosting a 10u-16u tournament to benefit a baby needing a transplant. Right now I am having no luck with teams signing up. Need advice on how to get teams. Her family really needs the help. Without her liver transplant she dies. This tournament is a 2011 ASA Qualifier!!!

If you are trying to hold one very soon, you will have problems. Most teams have coimmitted to other tournaments.

The Ohio Ice Black 15U team is booked, however if this is for real we will donate a $400 entry fee, although we cannot play. Our team would very much like to help this little girl Our prayers are with you and God Bless and God Speed....

If this is the Abby Akers Benefit Tournament Aug 6-8 in Norwalk it only shows up on the OFC tournament list as being 10U-12U and not up to 16U. The Central Ohio Ice 12U is looking for a tournament that weekend.

More about my tournament. Abby is a 10 month old little girl who needs a liver transplant. She was born with a rare disease. Her mom's about to loose her job. If that happens they loose the insurance, who already approved the transplant. They are all currently living at the hospital and the RM House in Cinnci, which is over 2 hours away from their real home. I have been approved for a 2011 qualifier, thanks to Mr. Jones. He felt this was important enough to get teams there. I personaly do not know the family, but wanted to do something for them. I am a medical perfesional and a mother. I truly understand what they have to go through to get her a new liver. We are praying for her in our little community. I assure all who will be willing to play, that it is for more than just softball. Please look up my post under Abby Akers. Thank you to all.
