Thats it less than a month before. And I must play this thing to keep my Nationals bid? ASA has 42 teams at 16u alone this year.

The NSA B State will be played at Canfield due to new construction at OSP. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Canfield Park is an excellent facility with indoor plumbing, 9 fields, great food and easy access to the fields. It is also the home of Youngstown State Softball.

Emails have been sent to all participating coaches and schedules will be sent out by Tuesday.

What is the construction at OSP ? Our team is playing there this weekend with no construction in sight...

This sounds like the opposite of Ohio Sports Park....

The point I was trying to make about the alleged "construction" at the OSP is that it seems like a poor excuse 6 days before the start of a tournament. We are playing at OSP this weekend, and aside from the half built concession stand and terrible parking lot, there is nothing wrong with the fields. I think the issue is more that they only had a handful of teams signed up for the B tournament. Now we have to change our plans, and play a tournament two hours away on 4th of July weekend. The excuse, as well as the lack of communication on this tournament up until this weekend has been pretty poor. And NSA wonders why they are losing teams went to ASA tournaments...;&

I agree with you on all points except one - the condition of the fields at OSP is terrible. The infield is hard as concrete, they never drag and rack between innings, and new lines are nonexistent. Add to that all but one field has 300 ft fences and it is not a nice place to play.

I agree that it is terrible to change the location at this late of a date and I suspect you are correct about the reason....You picked that tournament for a reason (location) and now they changed it on you.

My team has taken on a charity project for the season. One of our uniforms is "Bring Home a Cure" and we are collecting contributions for breast cancer research in honor of Muskingum University's Coach Donna Newberry, NCAA Div III's winningest coach who continues her battle.

We have matching t-shirts with the Bring Home a Cure logo for anyone contributing at least $20 to the cause. If anyone is interested in a shirt please see an Ohio Pride player, coach or family member. ALL contributions go to the cause; our team does not make any money. This is an important cause- please consider supporting our project!

The logo is quite amazing and very popular- the best cure shirt I've seen! :)
