If you do not know by now that the NSA is all about profit then shame on you. Tealtown is not at fault for the rain however they are guilty of not having a qualified tournament director and a rain out number. The tournament director has done a poor job.I have been around there for two days and it is chaos.

Mustohiofastpitch, I do have a son who plays teeball at Tealtown, that's about all I have to do with it. Yes it has been a long day.
The thing that keeps coming up is how much TT is charging compared to Expressway. TT only charges on special occassions Expressway charges everyday.
The fields at expressway are made for profit, the fields at tt were originally made because another local field closed down. Back then they never thought these fields would become what they are today.
I know it sounds like I am defending this place.....no just the good people who bust their butts. I will agree about the website and washing their hands. The level of communication has been poor at best. Not all on tt.

Does the pool play mean anything in terms of seeding?
It would be tough to make them meaningful due to the chaos that it could create.

I was informed it is single elim and No pool play. There was never any pool games with this tournament so I doubt they add them.
How ever they will give you another game if you loose your first. However you will have no chance of comming out of the loosers bracket to win the tourny.

not sure if it's the same for all age groups, but they told us our game tonight (16a) was a pool game, and single elimination starts on Sunday...... ?However, I won't know for sure until they post the schedule for Sunday. ?Then if the teams that lost their "pool" game is still here, it was a pool game. Not really sure what a single pool game does for you, olther then giving you at least two games.
Although, I believe the 10u and 12u are just a single elimination tournament, with no pool games. ?Not sure about the 16Bs either

What a joke this place is. I have been around softball a long time and never seen a tournament run this bad! This is our third night in a motel and we still have not played a game. Left the field at 9PM and they would not tell us anything but be ready at 7AM Sunday. Check the web site, it will be updated around midnight!! No excuse for that. 14U kids shouldn't have to wait till midnight to find out what time you play. They have the teams showing up and then everyone is standing waiting. Spells like $$$ to me. Cost me $10 to go to a park and stand around and then not play. $15 still for a three day pass., yet you only have two days of softball. I bet they sold a bunch of those! No common sense .

It is interesting.... Their website says that the 14A and 16A should be ready to play at 7:00 am on sunday, but they already have 14 7:00 am games on the schedule, and none of them are 14a or 16a.

Yes, this has been a bit messy. Trying to stay positive, ... getting difficult. Just left the park after a loss to Doom 93, and was told that they would be waiting for game information from as late as 12:00 to begin setting games for tomorrow .... guess I will set alarm for 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00 am to keep checking.
Why not just have a blind draw, or go with the other "original" blind draw, so you can let everyone know at a reasonable time. Are you really going to learn THAT much in one 50 minute drop dead revert back game to make it worthwhile to keep everyone up till the middle of the night to find out what the heck is going on tomorrow?
Oh well, don't worry, .... be happy .... ?

well, they posted right around midnight on the tealtown website. the strange thing is - it doesn't quite look like all the same teams at the 16a level are in the tournament, from what was listed earlier for the single "pool" game.... maybe it's just late and I'm losing it..... at least our team is on there and playing tomorrow....

Just got back from the ballpark. Played an 11:00pm game that started at 10:20pm. Game had a 50 min drop dead time limit but ump started clock 5 minutes before game even started. Girls were yelled at the whole 45min. to hurry,hurry,hurry. We paid $5 each to get in to an 11:00pm game. NO T-SHIRTS LEFT. I might not be so frustrated if I wasn't sitting in a hotel since Friday 2:00pm. Hope tomorrow is better!

They had 14 U girls playing at 11pm Sat night, finishing after midnight......then told them to be back and play 9am Sun morning. There was also no parking. People had to park across the street.....and they charged them! > > > >

Yea and this is our NSA State. I bet if the A World Series was not in Columbus this year noone would of played in this thing. It was a joke.
