The 14u will have a championship game should there be a tie between 2 teams record wise. It will be played out on the field.

10u: #1 seed is Lady Aces, Cincy Static 10u #2 with a very good mix of 3,4,5,6 seeds... Should be a great day and the Hawks are running a very nice tournament. The fields are lined, dugouts kept clean, and couldn't ask for more. Doug, nice work!!!! See you tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about little K's elbow. She is a great pitcher. The 10u Hawks Gold team are are an awesome team-good luck in coming back today in bracket play.

From reading the post on the other tournament nearby - looks like we picked the right one to play in this weeekend. Congratulations to the Hawks for an excellent ran tournament. The fields were well maintained( even after the rain) and the ASA umps in our games did a great job. A fun weeekend with a lot of extra's provided.
Also, congrats to our 14u Cincy Magic Blue for a tournament championship. We saw a alot of great talent with the teams we played against.

Les, you must be a healer! We did not pitch KK our last game yesterday due to pain .. we had a couple nurses rubbing it dow for 2 hours, medicating it (balm) and she took some ibuprofen. I came to the park and expected our #2 Jade to give it a go... when KK got in, she said she woke up feeling no pain - told her to go slowly toss and get loose but shut it down if any pain ... next thing I know she was popping the mitt... she went 6, 7, and 6 innings back-back, 1 game in between the third game.. to pitch us to the Championship. It helped tremendously that the Static took the Fire to the wire in the semi-final before the Championship game.. Static battled to the end, leaving a runner on third to end the game.

well maybe you can return the favor...we have a groin pull for one of our number ones that couldn't throw at all except at 80% in game one!!! We are fortunate to have 2 number 1's... just would have been nice to have both up and going. Groin pull, hope it's minor because those can take forever to heal. She's a gamer so I know she can't wait to get back. Again, great competition and we had a blast.

Les ... got one thing for you ... NORTH vs SOUTH CHALLENGE ... we gotta get it going.. 4 organizations 10,12,14,16 from each half of the state battling 1 weekend for the Ohio Cup Trophy ... winners take the cup back home!

this has to happen - the Hawks and Static need to lead the way on this and get it going....
