THANKS! Watched the CM/Hawks 14u game - you all spanked us - you deserve the Championship... who got your HAWK MVP award? I hope she liked it...

Pitcher Jessica Davis received the award, but it was due to the great defense behind her and the heavy bats. They made it fun and less stressful. Jess closed the game against the Hawks Sunday, pitched a shutout on Saturday, gave up 4 runs in 14 innings of play in 2.5 games. Jess said on the way home that she felt that there were several others on the team that deserved it more and love playing with these girls. When a group of girls come up to the pitcher and tell her not to sweat they have her back and they prove it with remarkable defensive plays it really sets the attitude of the game.

Jess loves the trophy, she said that the Hawks head is very similar to the schools mascot the falcon it was "too cool".

"Jess is just amazing"
We are so fortunate to have her, she is a great pitcher, and always maintains a great attitude, and very supportive to all her team mates- she is definately a leader.

Thanks for running a great tournament. We met a lot of great girls, coaches, and families this weekend. Great atmosphere. I think it gives me that much more incentive to push your end of summer tourney to the parents... Thanks again.

Thanks to all that attended this year's tournament. It was nice to meet so many great people in person and to visit with old friends too.

If I could have just got the 14U Hawks out of their own way, it would have been a perfect weekend.

Jessica Davis is an outstanding pitcher, and has a very contageous positive attitude. Congrats Jess good job.
