Felicity Franklin moved down to Division IV and will undoubtedly make a run deep into the tournaments led by their pitcher, Wear.
As for Division III, Middletown Madison always are strong contenders in the tournament. They have developed quite a rivalry with Madeira. Both pitchers, Kendrick for Madison and Hammitt for Madeira, are seniors and will more than likely square up in Districts again this year.

Not sure what Elyria will be like post-Sito, but they do have a bundle of talent.

Some very good talent in NE Ohio, including Hudson, Jackson, Perry, Boardman. Probably some others as well that I am not thinking of?? .... Perry is the team I would really watch out for, great pitching at least 2-deep, and some big sticks. Jackson will be strong, and Boardman has a lot of experience coming back, and a tough pitcher. Hudson will just show up and try to play with the big girls, and hopefully not et hurt too bad ... :D

Copley will be tough ... DII?

Poland will be tough .... not sure division.

Looking forward to the season!

Poland is DII.

In D2-Tipp City ought to be able to go deep
Valley View mad a long run last year as well
Greenville with Fischerback make a serious run

In D3 Parkway not has to be considered moving up from 4
Urbana in here as well

In D4 Strasburg has to be the favorite
Houston is much improved
Covington from the CCC
TV South with that freshman phenom they had last year

One other kid I saw this year to Flannigan from Louisville High school. This kid will make Louisville as well.

Just IMHO STATEWIDE Preseason Division I Poll...

1) Massilion Perry
2) Glen Este
3) Grove Cty
4) Elyria
5) Hudson
6) Lebanon
7) Gahanna
8) Anthony Wayne
9) Teays Valley
10) Perrysburg

Also North Canton Hoover, Upper Arlington, Massilion Jackson, Springfeld Holland, Oregon Clay, Lakota West, Pickerington Central and Youngstown Boardman should also be considered for preseason Top 10 consideration!

This will be my only entry for the season due to personal conflict, but OFC has been so dry the past couple of months, I'm just tryng to get some good conversation started...lol. :)

While Elyria has a great pitcher in Boris (SP?), I don't see them going all the way in Div. 1.They have 3 sophmore pitchers, but not quite at the Sito point. Harshberger would probably be the closest to Boris JMHO.

Keystone has an amazing Sophmore in Kenzie Conrad for a pitcher. She is definitely a girl that knows her pitches. Keystone also has an all around team package.

Too bad my Dd goes to neither of these schools.

PW, I want some of what you're smoking. LoL

No disrespect to the players at HN, I know and have much respect for many of them. Unfortunately I don't see any of the Cleveland area private schools having the depth to stick around long in the tournament this year. Mags has been our perennial powerhouse for years and they'll be lucky to be .500 this year.

I'm going with Hudson, Elyria & North Royalton to be the ones to watch.

Mags should have some good players for next year should be fun to watch
