Pitching and Pitchers Discussion Stud pitcher ?

I saw a 14 yr old from Ohio at the OSU pitching camp last year hit 65 and 67mph. Good speed and good movement. Was a pitcher from the Outlaws. Same pitcher hit 68mph during the stingrays NFCA camp in July but had on Team PA uniform. Played up at 16u.

Easy sparky......the only thing that was questioned was the gun radar speed. By the way my dd doesn't pitch so no threat to her. Ive NEVER seen her pitch just heard about her. I know your with a younger wizards team, no body was questioning her ability, or her drive, or her character or anything else but her top speed. You make it look like were attacking this young lady. I don't think raising an eyebrow about 65mph at 14u is in any way offensive? Not seeing her throw before, I NEVER said she didn't throw that speed, just that its quite a claim. If she does good for her, if she doesn't good for her. Speed helps but it isn't everything. I also heard speed isn't her only attribute. Good off speed and breaking stuff as well. So relax Uber......... no harm was meant, and nothing offensive or negative was said. Try decaf......

I haven't read anything you posted that I can recall, so I have no idea why you think I'm referring to you, or why I'm acting like your attacking her. Lol Im thinking you should take your own advice. But thanks for the advice haha

My oldest played a year with Dice's kid with the Lasers and that dude was fun. He pretty much had me laughing the whole time. Good guy, but for sure like to stir the pot on OFC lol

Any clue on how these pitchers did this weekend? I read in another thread that they were in WV this weekend. I'm guessing at 14u, 65mph would be pretty dominating.

I watched Beaubien (michigan girl) yesterday. The game i watched against the diamond chix she shut them out maybe 1 hitter. Paxson girl did not pitch this weekend due to a injury. Who hit the michigan girl hard?

This thread cracks me up on so many levels, but...

The Lasers Purple threw three shutouts in pool play I believe. Every time I walked by one of those "stud" pitchers was popping the glove. So yeah, they looked just fine. Very impressive. They did get hit in the semifinals, but I promise you that the Pittsburgh Passion is the best team you've never heard of - they don't travel a ton and might not have name recognition in Ohio, but they can flat our rake the ball with anyone. 1 through 9 in their lineup can pound the ball.

Known Scott since his DD was 10. Played in Lake county first couple of years, completely different person off of OFC. Turned bitter towards girls softball in the end. Just wish he didn't slam NE Ohio so much. Very entertaining especially during off season.
