Things you HATE to hear...

I hate when infielders and coaches tell outfielders they are playing too deep when one ball bloops in front of them for a cheap single. Most often only to be beaten deep becuase they cant get back on a ball that they would have caught had they stayed where they were.

Yeah. Those infielders were probably playing too shallow. Had THEY been deeper, they might have caught that bloop. Play deeper on the infield and CHARGE the ball.

You normally hear dont lose her when it was 0-2...and Now its 2-2 or 3-2... As in You HAD her ... Dont Let her off the Hook...

Are you kidding me?? You're busting my balls over a little verbage? My point is obviously that I can't stand when I hear people say "Don't lose her!!" The semantics are irrelevant.

I hate to hear and see parents on the sidelines berating the girls when a bad/missed play is made. They KNOW when they screw up and the last thing they need, while they are trying to shake it off and move to the next play, is to see us parents in attack mode. Most of us have been guilty of this and I had a coach actually point it out to the parents and he was right on the money with the criticism! How are the girls to make a great play after a faux paux if we can't even shake it off!

Such a shame...Dont let it bother you wgman. Just let it slide right off your shoulders. Your better than that! ;)

Many are already posted on here, but after working the SWOBAT clinic and talking to the kids about what bugs them. My list.

1. Swing Level ?
2. Squish the bug.
3. Move up in the box it's a slow pitcher
4. Move back in the box it's a fast pitcher.
5. Chock up on the bat
6. Hands to the ball, Ouch!
7. Swing down at the ball ( she must be a slapper)

These are being said by coaches to these kids, not parents !

one of late I have found I dislike from a coach is..................SILENCE

complete and utter silence meaning no coaching at all

One of my least favorite from a coach is be a hitter here. When they are up to bat of course. What do you think they are doing?

I don't mind this one as much. Usually it is a positive reminder not to be up at the plate taking pitches. Sometimes it is because the hitter looks at a lot of pitches, sometimes the pitcher is throwing a lot of strikes, or that a base hit/ball-in-play would be better than walk.

Ball...............Ball............Ball......... :lmao: When CLEARLY they are strikes! (JK)
Next batter....Ball..........Ball.........Ball........ :lmao: Ball 4 batter, take your base.

Next inning, same pitcher....Strike!..........Strike!..........Strike 3 batters out! (SAME EXACT LOCATION!) I just :lmao: and think to myself ok, he is just speeding up the game.:lmao:

Here's one...After pointing out an error to your dd, she replies I know, I know...Question is, if you know, then how come you constantly make the same error...
