Having a great Saturday drinking beers at BWW and after 3 beers demanding at least one TV is watching college softball. Just watch a (SEC) Battle between Texas A&M - 5 vrs Mississippi unranked. After looking around, I notice my group wasn't the only one watching the game "GOOD" maybe we pickup a few new fans. After two more beers I decided to login and check the forum out. WOW, since last night I've received 4 private messages from individual's asking me how to submit new threads anonymously for posting on the forum and I'm ecertainly happen and willing to help anyone out. Second WOW, even had one person send a new topic/thread that I will post Monday.

All private messages I receive with new topics will be
Posted under my user name WeAskYou and once your topic is posted your privacy will be protected at all times, the original private message will be deleted from my in box and I will never discuss with anyone who submitted the original message on any topic.

Agree with Lee. Holy crap that is something I never thought I'd say. lol

My guess it is Jeff or Ricky not wanting to use their real screen name, but who know's. Really no reason to do so though in my opinion.

Unfortunately you guys would be easy targets for the anonomyous posters, and each other's orgs. Do think we should be able to question your ethics and policies openly.

I am not sure why this continues to come up in various forms. The whole idea of someone posting something and not being will to stand behind what they say is just stupid and can do nothing but cause harm and ill will. I know Rick and I have had this discussion several times and it will never make sense to me. The whole idea of hiding behind screen names is bad enough, but now adding a third party who is willing to post something for you that you will not say in public is just not something that makes for productive use of the forum.

WOLFF and other that believe it's wrong to let people post anonymous post thru my user name, understand one thing, I won't do other people dirty work. I'm only posting softball topics that other may be unwilling to start.

I'm sure some of you don't truly runderstand, some people don't really want to post because they don't want all the BS that get started over some post, only to have it throwed in their face down the road or used against them or their daughter.

Thinking that Jeff or Rick is the person posting under WeAskYou is almost laughable. I"ve talk with Rick about different ways I could help promote and support the forum. He assured me that starting a daily topic for discussing would be the number one thing anyone could do to support this site.

So instead of judging my intentions, maybe everyone should wait before passing judgement.

I did not say it was Rick or Jeff, I am totally against the concept of anonymous postings in general. Nothing good comes from it in my opinion.

I think most agree that transparency (as much as it can be) is always better. Heck its not like members have to sign up with Facebook or has anything verified anyhow....

I think it could create a situation where one starts an anonymous post then others or the original poster wants to reply under that same method (given they are given the same opportunity to reply)...

Doing this could also create more situations like the novel thread a few weeks back....

I just started the first anonymous post today on tournament play this weekend. Rules have been included in the post, if individuals decide to break the rules, replys will be deleted. CARDS I'm in agreement with the fact that the OP may try this. But believe me, if I see any attempt by the OP to do so I will delete his/her reply.

I believe everyone that uses the forum for the most part what to help insure the growth of girls fastpitch softball and make it a great experience for everyone involved.

Let me just say that I am neither a moderator nor have I ever made an anonymous post. And that's definitely not my writing style! With that being said, I do think there are good reasons why some people would want their posts or subjects to be anonymous. So far I haven't seen any posts from WeAskYou bashing anyone.

Agree...Not a fan of having someone else post something because the original poster did not have the guts too...

I agree! I've been thinking the same thing. Either you ask for yourself or just continue being a ????...person who is too scared to ask for themselves.

I know I'm the biggest target and that is why you singled me out even though I'm not the first, second, or even third one to say this, and I'm ok with that.
I probably should not have given my opinion on who it could be as their are a couple more that come to mind, and with out proof I should just have not used names.

But my opinion has not changed, and personally don't see the reason to not use your name, but it is your choice and that is what makes our country so great so great the ability to choose.

By the way I'm glad I was able to bring some laughter to your day :)
Have a good day

If you are too afraid or shy to post on a forum, then it is a conversation that should be private, face to face.

Not everything has to be aired on a forum. In fact, probably 90% of everything you see on this forum should be a face to face conversation and not posted for everyone to see.

I've posted under my own name for 12 years or so . I'm against anonymous post , esp if anonymous threads can be started but not answered the same way . It's extremely easy to make up a username and register , I'd keep requiring it .
