I see our school Hilliard Darby was invited to the Classic in 2009' Been a few years for the school since they have been there. Any other Central Ohio ones out there that were invited?

Should be a great experience for the ladies!

I know that Greenville will be there once again. No better atmosphere in the state for this type of event in my opinion. The competition is awesome.

I try to go each year and watch some of the best high school teams play. Hopefully mother nature will be nice this year.

if you want to get the full effect of the tournament host a team. we have hosted a team for the past 6 years. we have hosted teams from north carolina, new jersey and kentucky. very interesting to talk softball with these head coaches and get their philosophy of aspects of the game.

SBFAMILY it is worth your while to head up there. The teams that come to the event are awesome. Ashland does such a great job hosting it in that atmosphere. Maybe I will see you there this April.

Since I'm just 15 min's away, you know me Rich I won't pass up watching softball. Plus I will be at the East of Chicago Classic. I'm hoping we play this year, skipped last year.
Just depends if Lex has a game, since I'm working with our high school team again next year.

Well I'll be up there for both tournaments as Greenville will also be playing in the East of Chicago again. They will also be in the Champions Challenge again up in Loudenville so that makes three pretty nice weekends of competition.

SBFAMILY, what team did your DD end up playing for?

16U Marion Diamonds. I'm finding out , after pitchers and catchers, everyone likes a Lefty Slapper with speed. She is doing very well in fall ball against 16U and ( will be) 18U teams.
All the Coaches are high school and college teachers with coaching experience. It. looks like she picks teams better than dad does. Great group of kids and no Drama.
Only draw back is she is an 8'th grader, so rest of her teammates can't play this spring because of high school ball.

Thanks RhinoGuy. If you get a chance attend one of Kobata's clinics, After you watched the DVD's it will really make them easier to Understand. Coop and I did that last year and I bought the DVD's. Rich told me he will have him at Greenville and If he is working with groups of kids again, I plan on bringing her. She might kill me, since He was giving her a hard time in Russian . They are intense work outs !

Jim Brehm. Worst softball conditions I have every played in. Which team is your dd playing for"? I'm coaching so between games I can say HI. Giving hitting lessons before the first game, so I will be busy till the second game.

A mix team: Thunder Images. Part of The Tunder Team she has always played on and a few girls from Highland HS Team.
