I was reading about the chaffing problem on another thread , and that made me think what are some of the things you bring on a weekend of ball? Whats in your first aid kit? Whats in your cooler? What can you not leave home with out? I can't wait to here what you just have to have.:cap:

Water, Advil, sunscreen, Gold Bond powder, Gatorade, cash, chairs, pillow, blanket (for laying down between games), minor first aid items (that stay in the car), sunglasses, visor, antibacterial hand stuff.

I'm sure there's more. My 8 passenger SUV looks like the Beverly Hillbillies with just 3 passengesrs, so I know for a fact that there's more than I just listed!

We pack a medicine kit with the following:

- all types of bandages, sprays (anti-infection), white tape, tuff skin...ect

Extra stuff:
- female "band aids"
- glove leather and a stringer tool
- lots of ice bags
- super glue (it always comes in handy)
- extra pens
- rule books
- sun block

Somethings our girls have:
- a pitcher that is larger and gets chafing on her legs uses vaseline
- sun glasses
- sliders
- extra sliding knee pads, shorts
- extra batting gloves
- sun block

As a team:
- We bring at least 2-3 big yellow coolers filled with ice and a little water (it melts)
- tons of bottled water and gatoraid
- sunflower seeds (it is insane the amount they go through)
- orange quarters

Oops I forgot the Motrin, Excedrin, Tylenol.........all for the head aches I get. For some reason I get serious headaches watching the team my wife coaches play. The other teams my daughters are on do not bother me but when she is coaching I have to take them before we get to the fields. I think it is that I get way more anxiety for her and overly sensitive and I have found that sitting with the other team helps....until we got good then that did not help....hard to not get ****ed when people are saying that your wife is a (*^()*&^^^&)(*&)(*&_(*&. Funny but when she was getting her backside handed to her she was the sweetest coach around but when she is winning she is a female dog.......

The small pop up umbrella for 35 bucks from DKS Sporting goods was the best money spent....

Buy and take a camper. It is cheaper and easier. You pack it once and that is it until you need to reload when you run out of something. We usually stay in the parking lot of the ballpark as well. No hotel or campground fees. You do need a generator though. This really does make life easy, home away from home.

RED CUPS and monkey butt.......Wow Talk about being on Drinking Team With A Softball Problem.....Good stuff

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I thought our parents were the only ones who used the "red cups" code.

Last year our team won a tournament and we all pulled out a nice cold one to celebrate and the old guy who owned the field (did an awesome job BTW) came over and called the local sheriff on us.........so we learned our lesson and break out the red cups from now on........it was a moment of poor judgement. But we were away from everyone at a camper.

That is too funny.

Am seriously thinking about that for college ball...... the only draw back is how to put the kegerator in one and keep the beer cold and not all shook up ;&

That is AWESOME.........................

Should I also include all the nasty stuff we pull out of the Flex after a softball weekend. I think I posted on that thread earlier this year. We just got the smell of stinky sock out of the car......and a new season is coming.
