I'm going with Glen Widner too. I have been so fortunate for my oldest daughter, 17, to have played for Glen since he started the Lasers White. I could submit a list of all the things he has done to help, teach, train and promote her. I am also thrilled that he is now coaching my 14 year old with the Lasers Black. It couldn't be a more perfect situation for my family.
Many years ago Glen told the Lasers White parents that he will train and teach the girls (he is a fantastic hitting coach btw) and he will get them as much exposure as possible. He never guaranteed a first place finish in tournaments, but promised that our girls will play in front of as many college coaches as possible. His measure of his performance as a coach is this; if every girl who wants to play in college gets to and gets as much money as possible then he feels like he has done his job. As one guy told me at a tournament, finally there is a guy who has really figured it all out!
I believe the Lasers White only has one, maybe two girls who have not committed to a college yet. (Butler, Akron, Cornell, Kent St., Ohio St., Wright State, James Madison are some of the colleges girls are committed to.)
