we would of like to get in to stingrays but that date just didnt work out for us.we will hopefully get in to lasers and get one of the last spots at gapss.we would also love to see any of these great teams at our uncle stans tourny in june!!!

We will be playing bristow this saturday at the spano dome. I have heard good things about them. It will be a good game! Any scouting pointers? LOL

short game is coming at ya and will test your Defense. We (10u Valley Extreme) scrimagged them on Dec. 3rd.... i think he has like 5 pitchers!
but its winter and a good time to test out your players at various positions to gets things tweaked for spring!! doing it again with Ice on Jan 7th !

I noticed that around a dozen 10u coaches have contributed to this thread. If they are interested in creating a coaches poll for the 2012 season, we can start one beginning on jan 1st 2012. Each team can have 1 legitamate coach pm me their top 10 ballot, with points given out 10 thru 1 in descending orderr, first thru tenth. I will accept ballots thru jan 1st for the first preseason poll and during the winter months update it monthly. Once we hit the heart of the season in the spring (may 1st) we can adjust to a weekly poll.

Mad hornet, good question. I have no dog in the fight at 10u per say, I just have lifetime passion for the game of softball. I have lived in northeast ohio and contributed to ofc for roughly three years now and if you research my 192 posts you will not find anything harsh or inappropriate. Polls such as these are designed to be for fun, maybe yourself or initfor51 would like to spearhead this poll in the future and have a current 10u coach manage it? Another suggetion is to visit heybucket.com and see how so cal starts thier preseason polls. They are just starting a 10u preseason poll this week and talking about coming to indiana. If all is on board I would like to start a Preseason 10u Poll the week of February 20th 2012. That is the week before the Spano 10U Tournament (March 2-4).

sounds good to me jeff has been doing the 10u poll so why not keep going,and it sounds like mantle 07 gets out and watches alot of games so his input is good to see also.It is great to see so many people talk about north coast,our group of girls all live within 15 min from each other so its not like were a team of all travel players from all over the state,we have 5 first year players ,so it does feel good to be talked about the girls are playing some great softball. and laserlady01 no more ???on laser nation so u can come check our team out.I forgot to add the gplex tourn.and eddie with wolfpack is trying to put together a solid one in early may with some of the top teams.

And yes you did start attacking my post and making up words or quotes from me.. Your the one with the attention issue it seems.. I want throw insults or mis quote u to Benifit me.. @ CoachTony this started when I pointed out that mantle07 who wanted to run the State Poll mis represented the 2 ice teams his statement failing to mention one team played Ice Red and won and Lasers Green played Ice Bristow to. 7-7 tie.. So as any layman looking at there post would just see both teams Played Ohio Ice and one team beat Ohio Ice and the lasers didn't.. But Mantle failed to mention the they played 2 different Ice teams... That's all.. I was being an advocate for our Laser Family.. We have been lasers since 10 now my dd is 15 and a ASA/USA champ!! So no not on here looking for attention at all.. Were
Lasers we have enough attention.. But when I can see underhanded things going on I'll always be an advocate for my Laser Family!!

My only intent was to get the poll started. I highly recommend Jeff Steiner to run the 2012 poll, experienced and unbiased! PMing with several coaches all seemed in agreement. Play safe and good luck to all the 10u teams!
