Coaches and parents, please beware that the Tourney Director and his scam artist business, MVP TOURNAMENTS, are back!
Was looking through Tourney Machine for 2024 tournaments and up pops a bunch of tournaments in Hammerville, Ohio. The name of the town is actually Hamersville. When clicking on any of these tournaments, which there is one listed for every weekend of the year practically - it shows it is MVP Tournaments running this events. DAVE MCCANN is the owner and TD who took money from teams a couple of years ago and screwed many over. He has ran baseball tournaments for years and has screwed over many in the baseball world. He screwed the softball world over a couple of years ago.
Many have been stung by this guy! Do not get fooled. There are many, many tournaments out there - don't let this guy steal your money or screw you over.
Anything to do with this guy - RUN, RUN, RUN!

Email came out yesterday from the above guy!
I made contact with the Flash organization regarding the past and this guys antics.
I sent an email back, originally thinking the Flash organization sent the email. But it was Mr. McCann who sent the email.
He text me last night threatening his attorney on me. I would be more than happy to go to court and have all the people he has ripped off there to testify. I'd even welcome it!

But once again, there are many, many choices for your teams to play! This is the one that I'd stay far, far away from!!!

Yep. He is back at full force.

He had someone with one of the Flash Softball teams post an advertisement yesterday in a FB group that I am in stating that they play their events using USSSA rules in bold print. Because of the nature of this guy and his past attempt at events in BB for USSSA, I posted that they are not affiliated with USSSA and to be aware as these are not USSSA officials and are not affiliated with USSSA in any way, shape, or form. I just think of all people, he is the last one that should be posting any promotional info with our name or our competitors names in it. He still owes our state BB director big $$ that poor ole Dennis will never see.

Of course, he had to retort that we have never spoken, nor has he ever even heard of me. And that I must be some sort of "hater" for giving his well ran events a negative remark? Whoever created the posting must have taken it down because he responded a couple of times with the usual nastiness when he gets called out by someone who knows better or who he has ripped off.

This guy seems to forget that he called me up a couple of times wanting to run under USSSA when I first came aboard. I told him I was already aware of him thru a park owner in Harrison who he had stiffed a few times and even stole his name from since he was running under something other than MVP Tournaments back then and changed to MVP when people caught on to his tactics. I told him no thanks and he promptly told me he would run us and any other association out of business in the Cincy/Dayton area and was branching out into central Ohio then hung up.

It is still a mystery to me that he had never gotten sued or worse since he ran Kolping Park for a season and ripped off teams both on the slow and fast pitch side using USA Softball as his supposed sanctioning body before they also wised up and found someone else in the area to represent them.

Me and Russ may trade punches on here, but he does deliver on what he promises to the teams like we do. Teams should remember this and take several people at their word on here when it comes to MVP Tournaments and Mr. McCann the owner when looking for events to play in this summer.

imo, these no registration fee, pay at the plate only tourneys are a recipe for disaster. At the very least you're set up for a colossal waste of time and money for your team, if limited number of teams show. Imagine, publishing schedule and everything for your team, everyone adjust schedule, family demands, etc, arrives on time at 8 am for 9am game.... and no other 12u team shows???

There are a PLETHORA of legit TD's out there, running solid tourneys, at good facilities and long history of success, especially in SW ohio. Choose better.

And to the ones that say since you're only paying for the actual games played and it cost less.... get better and plan to play on Sunday afternoons and get 5 or 6 games in a weekend, versus 3 games and go home.

And to not be too mean about it.... travel is meant to be for better players to play other better players.... if your team is not competitive in these super small, rinky dink tourneys...maybe, just maybe, your team isn't as good as you think.

It's important to address conflicts calmly and responsibly. Seeking legal advice might be wise to navigate this situation effectively.Gb whatsapp apk

Thanks; I was wondering why. Now I have it. Are you also a student like me? I know you also feel that you need someone to write your essay, assignment, and other writing work. If you also think so, then you can visit this https://essayroo.org/ website, which my friend shared with me and which he has been using for a few months now. I also used them, and they are so affordable and good at their work, and now I am going to use them for my whole college journey.
Thanks, I was wondering why.

I'm currently not in town. But it seems like there were plenty of games being played over this past weekend every where else...
Did any other parks cancel?

Steve had to cancel. He had a mess on his hands when he got there to work on them on Friday morning when he texted me asking for advice. Some places did not take water well with the 4-5 straight days of rain most parts of Ohio had last week. I have only driven by the complex back in mid March to see what the fields look like crown wise or what kind of mix they have in the infield or how they are set up to drain. Some places this early just are not ready to take on that much rain in a several day period. Almost all of the school ball around here canceled until the weekend at the dirt complexes, and then they did not look very nice to play on as the high school field near us was chopped up pretty good when I went by in the early afternoon on my back home.

And our friend, MVP Tournaments, ran at Berliner Park in Columbus of all places. He used 2 fields for a baseball event that supposedly, according to his website, had over 24 teams entered up until the night the schedules came out when close to 16 teams mysteriously dropped? I also found out from our BB director, that there is a cease and desist order with our national office on this gentleman to stop using our name on anything he runs or posts online. I guess some people just keep on doing whatever they want as long as people keep handing them money.

In all fairness now, how many places are there to play in the Cincinnati metro area that are not slow-pitch parks first anymore? Expressway sold out to FC Cincinnati a few years back. Bob would tell you that adult play was his bread and butter but his park still did their best to put on a good show for the youth teams when he did have BB or FP at the complex.
