Good things like this happens when your not consumed with winning and work toward a total "Team" environment.

I was just reflecting this weekend on how optimistic the 10U years felt

Thanks Kelly. It has been a fun year. The chemistry between the girls and parents has been a coach's dream. I will be sad when the season is over!

I would not trade the coaches of Doom98 for any others. They are all young ladies who played travel ball at the highest levels (Won GAPPS and Stingrays) and 2 of them play at the next level. The way they instruct our girls in how to play the game is priceless. How they carry themselves off the field as well speaks volumes about their character.

My youngest daughter was too old to play TB this year (plus we moved to NC), but last summer was the absolute best summer ever for softball. She played for the Road Runners Elite. The coaches, players, and parents were absolutely awesome. My daughter cried after her last at bat at nationals because she didn't want the season to end.

I love my Diamond Dogs! Oh... so does my DD.:p I am so sad the season is almost over. But I am so glad we made the decision to join. The Diamond Dogs is a family organization, and that's exactly how they make you feel... like family.

My dd belongs to the Silver Creek Starz Organization and we are absolutly thrilled to have her where she is and with the Coaches she is with! The thing I love the most about our Organization is not just my daughters Coaches at 16U but all of our Coaches 10U through 16 work together, take interest all the girls that belong.

I've had most of my team for 2 years now... had an awesome pool party at a parent's house for the Forth of July. The belly smacker contest was huge!!! Chemistry and freindship speaks volumes as to how lucky I am as a coach. Thanks to the people that have let me instruct and be blessed by allowing me into their lives thus far! We have had some incredible times and the that is just the beginning!!! Go Static 98!!!!

So glad we made the choice to play for the Hilliard 14U Cats last year. Being the only "non-Hilliard"girl on the team was not a big deal like it was when she was the only "non-Catholic school" girl on the team in years past. Now that we're in 16U the feeling is the same. She feels like part of the team and so do we.

I've heard nothing but positive comments from our parents ever since we decided to move parents into the stands and out of the coaching boxes, a move that included me now sitting in the stands. We turned it over to college girls that play college softball and they are all doing a very good job with the girls.
Our parents all get along great, and the girls are best of friends. The canoe trip last week showed allowed them to have fun outside of softball, and is just one small example of the family atmosphere our team has. Close girls, close parents, great softball and excellent coaching.

For a small time, very local organization, we are making some noise in the torunaments we go to.

Want to say thanks to Paul Moore 12U Ohio Danger coach......DD has been with his team for 2 years now. He teaches the girls well, let's them know when they are doing something wrong, and gives em props when they play well. He's a bit out there sometimes, but I wouldn't take her anywhere else. Sounds like all the replies are positive and that we parents/DD have picked the best teams for all involved. Good luck to everyone on the rest of your seasons.

Like the last 3 yrs I have nothing but good to say. We are with Silver Creek and due to some awesome opportunities she has had the chance to be with 3 teams within the organization and each year as good as the other. We hope to be able to stay there until her time in travel ball is done...Like Jody mentioned earlier the coaches all work together. Hard quality to find out there...

My oldest DD's coach, Dave Day 18U SGS Magic-White is the man! His focus and the man loves to compete, the best possible coach my DD could have the year before she goes off to play college ball. He demands a high level of play from his players, screw up and your going to get a butt chewing, its not personal and he drops it. At the age my DD is and the amount of softball she has played its amazing how much she has learned in such a short amount of time from Coach Day. I wish she would've have played for him last year, he was instrumental in getting my DD signed.

Coach Day is the man!

Oh and the parents on our team are AWESOME!!! As one of the moms who we've played with for years said, "there isnt the Bossy mom on this team!" hahaha

We have taken our "lumps" on the field from time to time, but it sure is easier to take when you are surrounded by great people and kids. And when we have those great moments, it is even sweeter.
Not sure if its the coaches, team, organization, facilities, team mom/scorekeeper ;), or families. But my DD's have never been more excited and motivated to play than with this group........10U Ohio Power.
Thank you David, JD,Coach Z and Coach Julie.(and everyone else with Ohio Power)

I genuinely like the coach/parents and girls on my DD?s team (OFC Heat 96) -- Everyone gets along really well. Just to clarify this includes Musty! I wasnt sure if I was going to like him or not but he is a good guy!

I also admire the coaches, parents and girls of the Static 97. The Static organization is genuine when they say they are *in it for the girls* Kavin and his team worked with my DD all winter and spring to help her to improve. I am unaware of any organizations who are willing to take the time to help a girl who isnt even on their team (or involved with their organization) improve. She always felt welcome at their practices.

I also would like to say something about Kavin Morgan. My daughter played for him one year and what a difference it made. She is now playing up on a 16u flames team and she is 14 eligible. She improved so much and I know I told him thanks but sometimes you just really want to show how much you appreciated the help. Again thanks Kavin and I hope all your teams do great.

So true of Kavin. He is also into other areas of volunteering that I'll keep quiet because I'm not sure he lets many know about it... long and short (and we know Kavin short)... he is very dedicated and has tremendous dedication to the youth he comes in contact with. I too salute his efforts.

JT, you da' man!
