You won't have to worry about 50 minute games here. The games will played like they are supposed to be played. Pray for good weather!!!!!!!!!

Here is some hotel info: http://www.ohiohotels.org/cities/Gr...~Greenville2&gclid=CJ_N0cX205UCFQTEGgodLiBKIA

Both the Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn Express are close and decent.

JEMIII we are glad to see you guys coming up.

Vipers22 Personally I think that the most unique place to eat in Greenville is the Maidrite sandwich shop. Nothing like a great burp burger. Just a couple miles from the ballpark. We do not run the concession stand there, the local softball organization does, but I can assure you that they do a great job and the grub is good. Actually they are in the process of buliding a huge concession / indoor restroom / indoor airconditioned sitting area right in the center of the complex. It will be a great improvement to what is already a fantastic facility for playing softball. No more port-a-jons after this Fall.

columbusken we are looking forward to it as well. The format will provide an oppertunity for all teams to get a great look at thier teams. Full games are a rarity in this sport anymore and by getting a chance to play 7 full innings coaches can get a god look at all players.

Having RIP-IT there on board as a sponsor is prety cool as well. They will have a factory Rep there with all of the 2009 equipment that they have to offer, and they will be allowing players to even test sme of the products in the batting cages and some game situations.

The collection of teams looks to be very good and as we mentioned early on all teams are welcome. The competition always takes care of itself and no team that is interested will be turned away. This is the time of the year to work things out and find out what you have for next season. Six full games will really help that process.

I can’t wait to see the no holds barred, 2 teams in, 1 team leaves, rematch between the Vipes and Doomers.

I heard the Vipes have been doing everything in blocks of 50 – pushups, sit-ups, sprints, tee work etc. while the Doomers have been working on updating the paint job on that ugly trailer.

Good luck to both powerhouse teams on the rematch. Even though it is early in the season and both teams will probably miss a sign or make an error here or there, hats off to both for starting the year off aggressively!

Hope someone is rolling with a blackberry or PDA phone and can provide score updates.

Rich, I'm hoping the wife will let the dd and I come and watch. One of the few weekends we don't have softball or (soccccer) ! going on. We tried out some of the new Rip it bats at the SWOBAT clinic and liked them.

We should have plenty of the bats, and other equipment there. If interested let me know and maybe I can help you out.
