cubsfan, The best thing to do is contact Rich via PM or email. He updates the teams list as he gets confirmation so I would say you guys would make #7 in 16U. I will say that if you want in you ought to do it soon, we have had numerous inquireries about getting in. We can take 7 teams and only 7 teams due to the format and game lengths. I for one am looking forward to getting 7 innings in a game. We only have spots for:

• one more 10U team
• two more 12U teams
• one more 14U team
• one more 16U team (not inlcuding the CO Ice)

Powerhouse teams!!

Just curious, how many of the teams entered were in the coaches top ten or fifteen voting from this past summer?

I have no idea. I also have no idea what it really matters. The top 10 or 15 or whatever from last year was ...well kind of last year. They may or may not be the same teams. Also, I am not really sure how accurate the top 10 list really is. It really is rather subjective. I can tell you that in the 14U divisions (where my team hung out) the slammers were the clear #1 but no where on the list did I see the Cincy Storm 14U. They were the best team that we played from Ohio in that age group last year so go figure.

We are very pleased with all of the teams who choose our tournament and the format that we offer as one of their Fall tournament choices. We were not being picky nor where we begging, nor were we excluding any teams. Just allowing teams to make what they tought was the best choice for them and their team. We appreciate their support and we promise them and excellent event.

Chewy no probelm. I was just explaining. I am not sure what jc70 meant by that post so I cannot comment on it. Personally I have not seen any of the teams listed this year (and that includes my own, we practice for the first time tommorrow) so it would be sily to make any comments. My guess is that if they entered the tournament they are looking for 6 full games of quality softball and a chance to qualify for the ASA Eastern Nationals.

I look forward to working things out with our team and few new players that we added. Chemistry is the most important thing this time of the year.

I think there is a sports bar right next to the Comfort Inn. The only good thing is that the sun comes up later in October. I don't think there will be any 8:00am games. They might make an exception for you guys though:lmao:

Wouldn't surprise us if it happens. We drew an 8:00AM game in every tournament we were in this season. We even had a 5:45 AM game in Indianapolis in March That was a rough one to watch. I did learn that you can not buy cold beer in any store in the state of Indiana
