Phoenix Summer Slam 2009 Pony National Qualifier

Phoenix Summer Slam 2009 Pony National Qualifier will be held June 26th to June 28th in Lancaster, Ohio. Divisions will be 10U - 18U with a maximum 8 teams per division. It will be a 5 game guarantee (weather permitting ) with 3 pool play games and double elimination format. The winner of each division will receive a berth to the nationals. Entry fee is $425.

All good I guess, but there are plenty of other "Non-Qualifier" tourneys where this could be done. As I paraphrased before, I just don't feel in a National Qualifier that an age appropriate team should be knocked out by a younger team, unless they are going to move up and go. Now if all the spots don't fill up then give them to whoever...would be great for us 16U teams to play some 10U teams.;&
