A team we held a spot for left us high and dry with no warning, thus no warning could be given to the other teams. We felt bad, but we had no other choice. We would much rather have a 10U division and not hear badmouthing from the uninformed

Why would you not let the Classics or the Stingrays in. Hmmm that gives you 5. They are just a few miles down the road. There are so many tournaments this weekend that have 10u's canceled. It's Monday and I wouldn't just give up yet on trying to find teams. It's about the girls and the game right. Set your personal differences aside and invite them to play. They are great organizations that comes with competition. Come on guys you can do better than this.

My daughter is a 14U whose team is off for two weeks. We are local to Lancaster and she would love to sub if a team is in need. She plays 3rd and catches. Can also play left and 1st if need be. Good bat.

The 12u games were not far behind, hate to say we were treated like the step kids and put on a t-ball field, after playing at the high school. Hope we run on time tomorrow.

bunham fields.........terrible fields huge mound behind the pitchers mound no outfield post to judge foul balls holes in the backstops ,no concessions we expect a little more for $450........you can always rent from coke or pepsi moble concession stands

I would have to agree the Bunham Fields are awful!!! No Concessions only 2 porta potties by 1 pm yesterday one did'nt have toliet paper! Grass needs mowed. I agree for $450 should be better facilities. We enjoyed the tournment last year at Marteens Park, but the facilities at Bunham absoutley STINKS!!

Try the tournaments that the LGSA puts on. You can't lose with those. Good organization, great tournaments!

I have to agree, that field was bad. The portolet was nasty. You can tell the pheonix has 16, 18 only they send the little kids to go play all over town.

Diamond Dawg Coach, I droped off your juggs net to the trailer, the pheonix bosses have it, you left it a that grass patch with some dirt that we had to play on.

Pickaway County Sting 12U beat Diamond Dawgs in championship.


I personally expected a little more for 450.00 I know for a fact that the Phoenix organization has put more into a good tournament than what they did this year .I get that we are 12's and you have to accomodate for the 14's and 16's, but mowed fields would have been great ,and so would have 1 or 2 locations not 4 .Restroom facilities were horrible friday and saturday,and
not that it matters really to me but the trophies where almost embarassing .
Sorry Rich but I think you can do better !

I just wanted to say that when you run a tournament and you use the park and rec's fields, it really is your responsiblity to empty the trash and make sure the portajohns are taken care of. You don't just tell everyone that it is the park and rec's responsibility. You also missed out on your consessions. If you would have made the effort to have a small concession stand at each field you might not get bashed so much. You really missed out on your money maker. Also having the brackets posted at each field would have been nice. You might want to start planning now for next year's tournament so you have it better organized!

Congratulations High Voltage in the 14u! Great team with great pitching and a world of class!
I spoke to Rich about some of the issues at the parks while at the tournament. I think there were a series of events that were out of his control on concessions and some other things, take the time to speak to him before bashing him...from the way he talked they are already planning for next year, and we can't wait to go back!
