Well if you got beat by a younger team do you really think you should be going to nationals to play teams your age? Just a question I would ask myself.

Thats completely irrelevent to the point I was trying to make.

So should I ask?? Does you beating a supposedly "lesser" 16U team make you a better 13U team?? If you want to get better go play 16U at GAPSS or Loudonville, maybe even your Stingrays tourney.

last year as a 12U team we played up at (14U) in 4-5 tournies which helped us out a lot, I have lived in Lancaster for 30 years and this will be my first tournament in my hometown. We thought this would be great for all of the parents to save a little money by staying with various parents on the team. The competition looks to be top notch (not sure why you would say "lesser"), I for one look forward to the tournament, and having our girls see some great pitching.

For Directions, you can go to lancasterparks.com and they have maps posted. Also, if your gps will allow you to just do cross streets, try State Route 22 and Reese Avenue. Hope that helps. Any 14U (or possibly 16U) looking for a sub for the Phoenix tournament? My daughter plays for the Sudden Death 14U team and has the weekend off. We are local to Lancaster and she would like to play. Her primary positions are 3rd base and catcher. She can also play left and 1st if needed. She has a decent bat, usually bats in the top half of the order.
