I want to tell all of the girls from the Classics what a great group of kids they are and what good ballplayers they are also.Taylor you was a joy to watch from the third base coaching box ,you are into every play .
As a coach and parent It really makes it nice to see that two teams can want to win so bad and then show good sportsmanship after all the dust has settled.
A. grover you could start for any 10 u team in the country .and A.barker your only gonna get better and better Dont be so hard on yourself .
To my girls,
I am very proud of all of you , you lose as a team ,and you win as a team . I try to teach that we are all equal and that no one is better than anyone else, I think that we kinda learned that this weekend .Everyone contributed .Thanks to all my help .
This is my first year coaching and if Ive learned anything it's that winning to me is secondary if your girls arent having fun ,there is alot of good talent at the 10 u level , it would be a crime not to let these kids know that its not about wins and losses or championships ,its about getting better and learning fundamentals . Especially at the 10 u level .My daughter included ,My biggest fear is that in two or three years she will be done if it's not fun .
