We have been using the Ultimate Scorebook for several seasons. Works great having everything on 1 page.

Kyle, we use the Ultimate Scorebook as well. Talk to Jeff to get his take on the pros and cons.

Congrats again on the Head Coach position at Heath HS. We are looking forward to catching games this spring.

When I used paper, that's what I used. I really liked having everything on one page.

I also use the Ultimate and have for years. Nothing is close to being as user-friendly.

I like the Ultimate Score Book as well, However has anyone had any luck with finding a clipboard or case for that size book. It is very tough to fit anywhere to keep out of the weather on those rainy weekends. Also the front cover isnt the most durable. It seems to rip off after the first couple weeks of the season. Then your left with the 1st game as your front cover. UGH! that bothers me.

Good points. Run into the same issues as well if they ask me to keep score.

Agree on all points. They did change the cover this year, though. It's now a full-color cover, but more important, seems to be made of much sturdier stock (and it's somewhat glossy) than the old white cover. We'll see how well this one holds up. Keeping the thing protected from weather has always been an issue.

As anybody mentioned the Ultimate scorebook yet? I got one from fast2home and after 1 game promptly bought more for my other teams. I even bought a backpack that fits it perfectly.

We've now got one of those collapsible cloth wagons and the scorebook fits under the med kit, the "drying ball off" beach towels, and anything else we can pile on when we are caught out in the rain. Of course, if you are still playing and not in a covered dugout when it starts to rain, there isn't a heck of a lot you can do to protect the scorebook.

But I really do recommend those wagons. An unanticipated benefit is that the girls love to volunteer to pull the wagon.
