In all seriousness, I think it's all of Ohio. However, it's also not the amount of teams and parents jumping from team to team before creating a new team. I know when my daughter played, she pitched 3-5 days a week in the off-season increasing days as the new "season" drew closer. At the same time, here in NE Ohio; I could name at least 5 D1 pitchers in the 2017-2018 classes alone. I can't do that now. I found out that one of my middle school players made the Cincy Doom. This young lady did exactly what my youngest did, took film of her practices and studied it. So is it the number of teams, or lack of pitchers/players doing the needed work?

Ohio power softball is going into its third year. I used to coach outcast fastpitch, and really liked this organization! Now I'm coaching the 18u! Also I have plenty of pitchers and catchers; but still need 1 to fill my 12. I'm glad there are this many kids even at the 18u level that still want to play! I think it should be more mainstream and less watered down. Watch for the kool-aid pouring coaches! Want more mound time! I'll get you in front of college coaches, we are platinum x3 go softball go ohio!!!

hard to judge, but I can say there are a bunch of teams, looking for pitchers and catchers. all ages, all levels. All different forms of social media and F/B groups, people looking.

The biggest peeve I keep seeing is the teams claiming to be showcase / Elite /Premier / national / Titanium, Tungsten, etc.. that never play further than few miles from home. Or they win a bunch of C level tourneys and think they are awesome, claim to be B level now, but can't win anything at a B/C or open tourney. They are obviously not at the level that they are claiming to be, but parents 'drink the Kool-aid' and it can get ugly.
Best comment yet!!! Yes and their child is number one on that team

Just for the inquiring minds...and to keep the kool aid pouring coaches at bay...

Do you care to share what colleges you have close ties with that you can get ladies opportunities from? DI, DII, DIII JC, or NAIA?
Share with the masses what major showcase you were invited too? Stingrays are in state Go Ohio!
How many years and what were your finishes at events like this?
