What is your most valuable tool?

Ok almost every coach or parent will tell you about something they have used that they just love...maybe its a particular video or training aid. My question is, what have you found that you just couldn't have lived without, that either helped your team or your dd?

My little magnetic position board that hangs up on the backstop. Otherwise, they drive me nuts asking where they play and when they bat!

Take many pics of our dd pitching and hitting with our digetal camera. We use the pics to help her see what she is doing right or what small flaw she might of picked up.

Also bribe her with shopping at the mall for having a strong tournament helps alot also!

Wish I was smart enough to have a secret weapon, or brilliant strategy, but I don't. Our best weapon this past year was "attitude" and "team commitment" no I's, just we's. Almost every kid played better than we had ever expected, relaxed, knowing that they were equally valuable, every play & every pitch matters, and everyone has their back (all the time) .... even when you strike out on a drop in the dirt with the bases loaded, bobble a candy hop, etc.

Okay, yeah, I know what it was ... LEADERSHIP from the Head Coach (JB), and from the Asst Coach (GG). From their leadership & actions, they set the tone mentally for a memorable season and experience. "We" all learned a lot from each other all year.

Like Klump I love my magnetic line up board. My whip hits, because I can do so much teaching , warmups without much space.

I think it might be the mirrors....getting them to see it, feel it and then fix it.

oven mitts--the team in little league practices with them, saw it on espn, oversized score book with room for notes, wish we would have had it years ago.
