So I assume Okiedad will disappear from this board for a while?
who cares about the incident at this point! Is this little girl ok? Lets put things in perspective! SOMEONE taught that animal to be this way and hurt our little girls. I have been coaching for 18 years and let her deal with me. I will show her what it means to respect this sport. P.S. I am a kid lover and would die for them. Is there something wrong with this scenario? Do NOT make excuses! Right is right and Wrong is wrong. SOMEONE PUT THIS IN HER HEAD!!!! Any info you can give me re: her behavior/parents I would love to help them if I can. NOW GET ON WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL GAme
This is getting ridiculous...no explanation of the incident or accident. Kinda like the threads about that guy who bounces the checks. If your gonna post here, please describe what you saw, please...
Without a detailed description of the play, I will not make a judgement. What I can say is that this public forum is not the place to vilify a 12 or 13 yo young lady. IMO, The initial post fishing for responses is questionable itself. I do applaud Jeff for staying out of the discussion to this point.

Glad you got the Message, was watching the **** float to the top in support of you .Note: I had sent a apology and offered prayers for Avery two hrs before you decided to start this thread and was enjoying the **** listed above tear my dd apart. so what was your true motive. As far as the accident at second that you continue to call a incident ,she slide thru the bag Note: bags are rounded at top to prevent injury to the slider and crossed legs with Avery my dd has the bruises to prove it ,yes she did have adreniline packed celebration after until she found out she was hurt. She started crying as you became judge, jury ,and executioner, yelling that she did it on purpose and calling her a butch,Our late coach Stood at third and left my dd to cry and be berated by you, since your buddies it didn't suprise me.The death threats toward me and my family as you walked by were course for legal action in themselves. My dd will continue to play the game and since she read most of the posts that were written she knows of the classless individuals that are out there and on here. Also i would like to thank the decent folks that have shown support fo us, including some Thunder people.Jeff your slanderous and cold heart will be you downfall And im doing everything in my power to make it happen.Just got threatened with Legal action..... Any Lawyers out there?? Last I checked, I was the one with medical bills and a dd with a Broken Leg. I never asked for people to post, I asked for PMs and Phone calls.
Jeff
Oh my gosh, Paul. Really? Adrenaline packed celebration? It was quite a bit more than that and it wasn't the first time it happened in that game. Earlier, when we had a girl attempt to steal home on a passed ball, after your DD made the play on our girl, she stood up over that player that was still laying on the ground (after a hard collision), pumping her arms and yelling at her to "stay off my plate" I was sitting right behind the backstop and saw/heard it.
Later, with the collision with Avrey, your DD came in hard, fast, with her leg/cleat raised. It was apparent that the intent was to take out whoever was covering the bag and be safe. Do I think she intended to break her leg, and even more specifically, Avrey's leg? No, I really don't believe that. But I do believe she intended to take out a player - not injure, but take out in a way so as to be safe - but there are other ways to be taught to slide into a bag and be safe without intending to take out the defensive player. Regardless - what was the most upsetting part, IMO, was that afterward, while Avrey was laying on the ground, rolling around, crying in pain loud enough that I could hear her behind the backstop at home, your DD came off the bag, stood over her and fist/chest pumped while saying something (but I could not hear what).
Also, your DD was never called BUTCH. She was told that it was BUSH league. Your lives were not threatened - you were simply told to stay far, far away as we had to transport Avrey past you and comments began from your side. I know what was said because my husband and I were helping stabilize and transport Avrey to the gates.
Incidentally, if you are talking about my PM to you when you mention the support that you have received even from Thunder parents....I would like for you to read it again. I did send you an email letting you know that I have compassion for all of the consequences and emotions that your DD has to try to sort out - it is a LOT for a 12/13 year old to handle. And I did see her sobbing after the incident in what I assumed to be remorse. In my PM, however, I only mentioned having sympathy for your DD - not you or your family - and I started by saying I did not want to discuss the incident or argue over it. I believe you are completely in the wrong on this one, which is why I did not want to discuss the incident.
However, I do continue to hope that your DD is able to sort through all of this. I feel that her actions in this game (even before this incident) were directly related to how you have done nothing but follow around and knock Thunder Elite for the past year. The continual posts you have made against us are well known on OFC. But Maybe this fact isn't known.... you practically followed us around all winter/spring long when your DD was not playing - you watched our games, laughing and even clapping at mistakes made by our girls on more than one occasion - all while sitting on our side or within our parents, practically taunting us all year long and you only use the excuse that "I cheer for the underdog." Many times you brought your DD along with you. What kind of example do you think this teaches her? I believe you have pumped so much **** into your DDs head about us, that it eventually lead to her so-called "adrenaline-pumped celebrations" and actions on the field. I feel that ultimately she is paying the price for the trash that you pumped her head with. My compassion for her and concern is that she is able to deal with all this mess, including sorting out what are truly her own feelings, versus what is coming from you.
And, quite frankly, IMO you should be shielding your DD from all of the mess here on OFC - not showing her the posts and continuing to pump her head full of garbage....
