Posters not having proper grammar or proof reading their posts... there is a big difference in they’re, their, and “an and and. You want my kid to play for you...I know coaching isn’t about teaching English, is what it is.

I know spell check can jack up a post, but...

I know what you are saying but I dont have as big of a problem if people mistake there their or to too two as I do when people just write one big run on sentence and dont know how to use punctuation or it is like the punctuation store was out of commas and periods the day they went shopping hahaha

Seriously though, that is a pet peeve of mine as well. However, I've never called anyone out on it. I visit other sports related discussion forums, and this site is not nearly as bad as some of the others out there. An even bigger pet peeve of mine is when people use "prolly". Really, its that much shorter to type "prolly" than probably? I hate that one, ugh! It's not even a word.

I'll be the first to admit I should have a copy of the Bradford Handbook by my side when I write. I had a professor once tell me my biggest problem is I write the way I talk. Habits can be hard to overcome...........
