Ashley Gilbert from Sandusky high is flat nasty, my daughter had the privledge to catch her last year on a travel team and we were both very impressed, great stuff and great work ethic. Also one of the most intense girls we have coached or played with

So...........is there any girl from Ohio that we missed. I do believe that we have named just about every pitcher in the state.

Bill, we did miss Katie Ardery, Bishop Ready H.S and Kayla Williams, Southeast H.S. (both pitch for Rays-Blair)

I will also mention Lindsay Swipas(?) Champion H.S (Sapphires) and Madison Yanek(?) South Range H.S (Bandits)

Keep an eye on Susan Knight, sophomore, D-III Edison Chargers (Explosive Fastpitch 16 Black). Began high school career with 2 no-hitters a year ago and set school record for fewest hits allowed per game.

Taylor Haggy, a junior, from Southeastern was already mentioned and a favorite of mine. Taylor was in the circle most of the post season last year and helped the Lady Trojans to a district final appearance. A very coach-able young lady ready to go the extra mile.

Stacy Zickafoose, a sophomore, from Unioto is a lefty that has all the elements to be a top dog in any pitching dual. Watch for this kid to be a force for the next few years. Stacy is a full package that's worked very hard on her game and has a command of 4 great pitches she can throw on target at any time. Her spin pitches are excellent.

Another sophomore to keep an eye out for is a promising talent from Springfield Shawnee named Breann Thornsberry. Bre has worked very hard on her game this winter and while she's ready for the challenge, I believe this spring will test her endurance. She appears to be ready for battle and is a great student as well.

^^^I believe you may be thinking of Erin Gabriel of Poland Seminary/Valley Extream Blue 18U and Ashley Hall of North Canton Hoover/Ohio Wolfpack 16U.
