Pitching and Pitchers Discussion Best Pitchers mask??

What is the pitchers mask preferred by most? The Gameface? Defender? Rip it? Or other?

No firsthand knowledge of Defender, but DD much prefers Rip-It to Game Face.

My daughter has tried all three and she prefers the gameface.. it wouldn't matter to me which one she wears, I'm just glad that she wears one period..

Until they get use to it, they hate them all. I believe the rip it is the most open though.

Rip-It is what we bought for all of our 10U and 12U players.

dd would not wear gameface without a battle. she wears her rip it without a fight at all

DD wore the Gameface in 10u for a year, gladly changed to the RIP IT when it came out. She will never wear a GameFace again.

DD has worn Gameface, DMask and Rip-It and she prefers the Rip-it. Better vision, cooler on the hot days and no fogging up issues on the cooler days.

Definitely Rip It over game face! DD has both and there is no contest.

Rip-it without a doubt. I'm suprised that the gameface mask is still sold. It's like wearing a linemans full face mask while you're playing quarterback.

dd's first mask was a Gameface- she wore it but complained that sweat would drip inside the mask on a hot day- the following year (last year) we got her a Rip-it and she never complained about putting it on...definitely the Rip-it

Rip-It... they have the best design for all playing conditions imo. Vision is the best, fogging eliminated, nice strap for the pony tail, sweat building up is not an issue, clean or appearance of clean is improved, and the girls like the fit over the other brands/styles.

Same thing, my DD started with a gameface but quickly changed to the Rip-It. Better vision, lighter, and works better with her glasses.
