Who are the best 2010 (Freshman/Sophomore) pitchers from Ohio????
Why are you saying this pitcher is so good are so good????
Would you recommend her to a "BIG SCHOOL PROGRAM"?

I've seen Britt & Bee pitch several times .. very impressive .. I have never seen Abbey .. what is it about her pitching that impresses you? I'm not really about the whole ranking thing .. but I do love to see a good pitcher at work. Is she fast, accurate or is it the number of strike outs or no walks etc. Don't want to start a debate as to who is 1 .. just curious as to whether we are talking stats or just WOW factor. I look forward to seeing Abbey at work. ?PS .. Not to slight anyone .. I have seen a few others not mentioned here that are also impressive ..

I am guessing the three pitchers mentioned above are 7th graders going into 8th grade. I have seen them all play and they are excellent at that age. I would like to add three more girls who are 7th graders going into 8th grade. They are Jena Modic and Erin Gabriel who both play for the Valley Extreme 14U Blue. Erin could actually still play at the 12U level. Another very good pitcher is Lindsay Swipas who plays for the Valley Extreme 12U Red. She does a nice job for her team.
All of these girls are excellent at this time. Let's wait and see what happens when they get to high school and beyond. Things can change. I wish them all the best of luck at the nationals.

I agree with you ABC123 they would be I believe the best in 12u. ?I also expect a lot more from Abbey and Brittanie before this year is up and I hope that comes at California. ? camp tx..Jena Modic and Erin Gabriel are good pitcher's and should be mentioned. ?Do not know Lindsay Swipas. ?

Good luck at the Nationals girls!!..

Lasers Orange have a couple of very strong pitchers that deserve to be mentioned. I believe one will be a freshman and the other 8th grade. # 20 has a wicked curve ball and #7 a strong change up. They are a very modest and mild mannered team that have earned a little recognition. ;)

Another very good 12U going into the 8th grade is Sara Grunert from HoO Explosion. I think she was also undefeated this past year in Jr. High. A very good pitching coach that will help her develope into the best she can be!

How about a 6th grader going to 7th. Write this down, you heard it here first.

Courtney Rengert from Marion currently playing for the Buckeye Heat. This young lady is rapidly becoming one of the best. She is one of the best I have seen at this age and I am confident that you will become familiar with her in the years to come.

Saw a young a lady pitching for the central park crushers a couple of times don't know her name but she is number 13 and i hear she is only 11 but throws in the low to mid fifties i think you'll be hearing about her in the future once she gets on a better team.

I agree kindle.a I have seen your daughter pitch. Looks like she has been working hard in the off season. The coach seems to save her for the tough situations. ALOT OF PRESSURE!!! How does she handle all the pressure?

superpitcher--I know that I couldn't do it. But that is what pitchers do. She has always done a good job handling tight situations.

Abby from Cincy Force, 14 and under. ?Four very effective pitches. Seen a young girl, 14 group I believe in a tournament in Trenton, Ohio. She threw three games, two no-hitters with 17 and 15 strikeouts?respectfully, and in the finals threw a one hitter, 14 strikouts, in a 4-3 win. ?She will be going to Middletown Madison High School I heard.

I think you have to include me in there in the Pregame Wiffle Ball division. I can throw strikes, hit spots, change speeds and go all day.

Our 12u DD took a beautiful pitcher of a weeping willow tree and didn't even win honorable mention at the fair - we thought it was the best pitcher!
