we have the mass retailer exodus now...pretty soon, all we'll have are pickerington commuters and dollar store generals

LOL, statman! I always have to work the next day, so that makes it rough. I'll be back in the Pick area as of Monday & running my own show again, so I'll just ask myself for the day off after a statman shindig. Of course, I will need a guarentee of some famous pasta salad

Losing the Meijer is a huge blow to that area. We used to go to that Target & Lowe's out there, but now the same things have opened up on Broad St. I just wonder how much longer my company will hang on.

Any Residence Inns by Marriott ?(Dublin, Worthington-- watch the train track rooms though at RI Worthington) Towne Place Suites By Marriott (Worthington, Gahanna) Springhill Suites by Marriott (Gahanna) SHS, RI have free continental Bfast, TPS has a small grab go danish type bfsat. ?All about 15-20 mins from the park. Worthington is 10 mins from a new waterpark opening at the zoo for Downtime.....

I second that about the train track rooms at the Worthington Residenc Inn. My sister had one during the state wrestling meet last year & it was awful.

good news, people, the Holiday inn Express in Picktown (just visitedlast night, we had friends from out of town that stayed since we have all the statbaptisms today!)...and no one was shot, no one was propositioned by a lady of the night, and no was beaten to a pulp in the parking lot...although the indoor pool was freezing, not that it stopped the kids though...we even surveyed the beer at the local Thirsty Turtle, without incident, although i do smell like smoke (so much for the law?) and cannot get led zeppelin/skynyrd out of my head unless i drink another 6 pack, down a jager-bomb or not brush my teeth for a week and play pool with nascar guys
