Was at the 15U USSSA World Series in Maumee yesterday and what I saw from the P**** team was disgusting. In this back and forth game they had a parent and a player ejected. The parent was threatning the coach from the M**** team and the player was elbowing the opposing players and dropping f bombs all over the place (as were many of their players). These teams played the day before when the M**** beat the P*** and a few words were exchanged while the teams were shaking hands after the game. Well did'nt have to worry about that yesterday. While the M**** team lined up to shake the hands of the P**** team, their coach had them stay in the dugout and not go out and shake hands, and they were the ones who won the game!?!? Not sure I've ever seen that before. What a horrible show of sportsmanship. Was glad to see they lost in the finals. The P**** organization should be ashamed.

That is horrible. I have seen this type of behavior in the sport my oldest DD plays. The coaches should be ashamed of themselves, not only for allowing that type of behavior in their players, but for demonstrating that behavior themselves!

You need to contact the head of P****, Rich ****, and let him know your thoughts! Rich doesn't put up with too much bull from his coaches embarrassing the organization and will take steps to correct this if he finds out it's true.

I know the team you are speaking of and can almost guess as to who the parent was that was ejected!

We played a team **** a couple of weeks ago that we thought were bad but this takes the cake. Maybe it's something to do with Pittsburgh, and I'm not a Browns fan.

It has nothing to do with Pittsburgh. As someone who has spent more than 10 years in both places, I can tell tell you that if the battle cry of NEO wasn't "Pittsburgh S*cks" the western Pa'ers would never do anything to appear ugly.

Those are decent people. Cleveland and Pittsburgh are so much alike; it ain't funny.

This is not an indictment of Pittsburgh or people from PA in general. Just a case of a player and a parent giving a team and an organization a black eye. Keep an eye out for those two at tryouts.

Team names have been removed, and I expect it to stay that way.

We played the same team last year in Orrville. They were 14u then. They had two team. An (A) and (B) team we will call it. These folks were nuts from the beginning. They were fighting during the game. They were looking for a fight. The more runs we scored, the worse it got. At the end of the game during the hand shaking, total h*ll broke loose. One of their coaches tried to hit our assistant coach. The only problem was he hit a chain link fence first. I had two policeman who's daughters were on my team and they had to come in and break the whole thing up. It was one of the craziest things I have ever seen in a fastpitch softball game.

The head coach of the (A) team witnessed the whole thing. He told me that he called the head of the organization and explained to him what he witnessed. I was told that coach and team would not be back in the organzition. Interesting to see that they are at it again.

The (a) team was awesome. Great coaches and players! This (B) team looked like something out of the Hills.

SCOTT: Wrong team. Our team didn't play in Orrville last year. Sorry.

urout: Obviously, you missed the B******* coach, and his ridiculous ranting and raving from the first inning through the whole game, anytime it wasn't going his way. You obviously missed their girl get down and literally throw a shoulder on our second baseman, who was covering first. The umpire missed it. Our girl whom you speak of, got ejected for running into a girl while coming to first, the girl said something, and she responded with words (after the other incident, which made them aware). She was not being malicious and hitting a girl twice her size, but she got in trouble for the words. I agree with the fact that it was a horrendous game, and the B****** coaches, fans, and players were very unsportsmanlike. We watched them play other games, where the same things happened all weekend. Coaches blowing 20 minutes off the clock arguing a call with the umps, girls dropping repeated F bombs so loudly it was heard in the bleachers, throwing shoulders and swings when the umps weren't looking. The fans screaming and swearing at the umps every time a call didn't go their way. First base coach talking junk to the opposing teams players on the field. You name it. This would never go on around here. They'd have been ejected quick! I was sitting there. Behind first base. It was disgusting. I stayed quiet, and sat in my chair, taking it all in. I assume by your screen name that you're one of their fans, coaches, or parents. It's pretty bad when fellow Michiganers came to watch you play, and came over to our side. The woman was absolutely ashamed, and kept telling us over and over that B**** were not indicative of what Michigan is about, and she was not claiming them. By the way...our girls didn't shake hands, because with the intensity and ridiculousness that went on, they didn't want any fights in the line. If anything, I'd have expected the B**** coaches and girls to throw some punches or elbows. They threw words all the way out of the park, and tried to start fights. It's my opinion, that team was classless all the way around. I hope the girls break away from these coaches and parents who egg them on, and make them look bad. Hopefully, no college coaches were around, since this makes both the players and parents look bad to a person who will be their "surrogate parent" for 4 years. We were quite happy to play Extreme Pink in the finals. All the girls on the field had fun, on both sides. No arguing, no ridiculousness. They're a great, fun team, with great sportsmanship. We couldn't have lost to a better team.

IvyMike: No way you'd ever guess who the parent was. He's a VERY quiet, reserved man, who never says one word. I'd have never expected him to be taken out. EVER. But, when that coach started on his daughter, he tried to say something to the B******* coach, and it came out wrong. He was thoroughly embarrassed and apologetic, but left without further incident. Funny how things get lost in translation...whether it's how you see something or say something...

MikeHoff: Our team also did not play in this same tournament last year. WE played the WS at Berliner.

Perhaps you all should speak to the tournament director. He was there and saw the whole thing.

The site is NSA of Western Pa & West Virginia Web Site and it's under "weekend results". Probably the same basher both here and there.

Teams (parents and coaches) that behave this way are doing their organization and players a disservice, act that way in front of a college coach and you just scratched your kids name off their list....good luck trying to get that team in a showcase - word travels fast.

OOPS! Sorry for the name mistake! We really enjoyed watching you all play, even before our game. Quite respectable. Sorry you had to stand there and witness the weirdness of that game. It honestly was the strangest game I've ever seen. You'd think the prize was a million dollars or something! Like I said, we couldn't have lost to a nicer team than yours. Hope to see you all around the fields again sometime! P.S. LOVED the "Cindy Loo Hoo" hair on the first base coach. Hysterical! :)

Broadzilla sounds like you are talking about YOUR team. Your parents were a joke. The big guy with the yellow cutoff shirt on was obnoxious. I didnt see any B**** parents or players ejected. Not one B**** player ever threw an elbow, shoulder, or punch. They have NEVER done that and NEVER will. Not one B**** player ever dropped an f bomb. Say what you want, but everyone knows what a classless team you have. Your players were the most cockiest kids I have ever seen and your organization should be embarrassed. Many other people I've talked to have the same opinion about your team. And give me a break about the not shaking hands excuse. Bottom line is your team has NO CLASS. I dont really want to speak about this anymore, the people who were there saw how you team acted, it was sickening.
