My daughter (pitcher) sent me the following note before her first game of the upcoming college season.

'Remember the last day at home before I went to college? We took these? (photos of her high school field in late summer)
Thanks for all the hours of catching, all the hours and hours and hours of early morning drives, for being encouraging, supportive, for always pushing me to be better and picking me up when I wasn't. Here's to another season of loving softball...thanks for all of it. (followed by a picture of a college field in Florida)
